Martok wrote: Fri May 09, 2025 4:59 pmI haven't read beyond this point in the thread. Regardless, my answer is yes, they could, but why should they? Both leveling and the acquisition of items in this game has morphed over time to be easy enough. So enough.
Same reason they bothered implement solo queue. Event SC should be based around that.

Oh, oh, oh, oh yeah?!
Oh yeah what? I consider us friends but that type of response is pretty low quality.

Ive miss the possibility pug to win over premade. That were happens not so rarely on live cos you got some real comeback mechanics so if u see familiar names on ppl that knew what they are doing on your side you could really do good fight. Even if not total win tou could hold your ground near the wc and guards.

Nowadays by all ill changes these ppl wont even queu solo and even if they do it there is no any comeback mechanic just the dominating side meat grinder.

On live my playtime was 80% scen + 20% orvr. On ror 10% scens + 90% orvr and that is purely content driven
Mostly harmless

I feel like we should go in a direction where every scenario has a safe space where the losing team can retreat to when being pushed back so hard they just can't recover on their own. Best would be if the barriers would also be removed. If the winning team decided to spawn camp, they should also habe to deal with the consequences of possibly being sniped by guards or ranged dps out of their safe space.

The thing that ppl dont gasp is that comeback mechanic (live version was free wc wayback and guard which kills gain renown) will help not only average solo players but will help to retain the weaker premades. Nowadays lesser quality premades disband when lose 2 scens cos all barriers and full swipe mechanics make it very painfully to lose so all these ill changes make it harder to make and keep running premade cos you got punished hard when lose and the learning phase is kinda not exciting

It is beyond me how this is not seen and recognised as problem

Whatever matchmaking devs introduces will be in vain cos without comeback mechanic when you face 2 prems with different quality the end result will be total stomp and losers disband and stop queu at all
Mostly harmless

On my planet my response is known of as a throw-away joke. You know, a bit of humor inserted into an otherwise dull and drab environment dominated by an insatiable desire on the part of the majority of the participants to never, ever allow a diversion such as levity to be inserted into the pantheon encompassing all formats of Return of Reckoning.

I mean come on man, you've hung out in my stream, you know how I operate. How anyone could read my response quoted above and for one second fail to understand I was neither actually challenging your point nor even attempting a serious response but rather simply conceding your point in a light-hearted manner is a sad indictment on the overall mindset in play on this server. I mean damn, didn't any of you guys see the Three Stooges movie? Airplane? Fast Times at Ridgemont High? The Dark Knight?

Of course I'm serious, and don't call me Shirley.

But everyone be of good cheer. I have learned my lesson. Never again will I attempt to convey a point here, on this most serious platform discussing the most momentous aspects of this solemn, humorless, grave and supremely consequential GAME none of us just play but LIVE down into the very atoms of our bones.

Nope, from now on its nothing but 'Welcome to Warhammer, No Fun Allowed!!'

And besides, for those who have followed the Tothmonra Podcast you know we have been talking about this stuff for almost two years now. Everything which has been said here has been said prior.

When we get to use voice and talk on a more personal level, I agree, yeah I do know how you operate. In a textual manner, the tone can be difficult to interpret or even catching a reference that's out of context. I just try to remain in line with the guide lines as much as possible when it comes to the forums are it seems impossible to get un-banned from RoR discord and keep having discussions. So I try to not lose my privilege, therefore adopting a more neutral-abiding mindset when I do happen to come post here, it's all.

Still appreciate you and still will talk with you. That's why I been putting a bunch of time on Order lately to try get my characters up to par so we can roam again.
