Guild coins are practically unattainable and make the guild experience worse the way it is.
Not because the concept is bad. The concept is good.
But every guild I've been in does a communal groan when I ask for a guild scenario for the weekly.
Guilds start getting toxic when you ask too much to do a weekly dungeon for the guild coin.
You have to insist and push guild officers for .guildinvolve and they don't like to be pushed.
Guild coins don't work with the playerbase, which only wants to do RVR for the most part. Looking for guild coins is ruining my gaming experience, and I've almost left ag uild and left another guild because of their lack of interest in guild coins.
They just don't work.
Guild coins don't work with how the playerbase works

Re: Guild coins don't work with how the playerbase works
Would like for guild coins to be ;
- account bound, but separate for Destro and Order
- compatible with being obtained in an Alliance group.
It’s way harder to obtain guild coins in smaller guilds than big guilds/mega guilds.
And if you work on coins for a single character, you kinda get punished for helping the guild get a good setup for like duengons/sc’s, if you have to log over to an alt.

I'm also curious why the guild coin quests in K8P and KK now reward soulstones, and why this change wasn't announced in patch notes.
Re: Guild coins don't work with how the playerbase works
IMO both guild coins and stalwart stones should be account bound. Would maybe even add the speedrun coins in the list.
Re: Guild coins don't work with how the playerbase works
Most painful - relog to tank or healer after half an hour(or more), because guild wb need it and lose all zone contribution on previous toon. Not so bad when all toons 80+ with BiS, but before that... Probably it has to prevent x-realm, but inside one realm just punish people who ready to optimise guild wb composition.
LotD, expedition resources account bound, same with gold scarabs - here is ok to optimise composition.
Guild coins, stalwart stones, speedrun coins - utility rewards with lower rank then gold scarabs, see no problems to make them account bound.

It would be ok if guild quests worked with people of your alliance. Especially guilds of the non-English-speaking kind are often small and in an alliance with other small guilds.
