There was a time when full parties didnt come to dead empty zone where only solo players played.
Now there are almost always a party or sometimes a wb who come an empty zone.
Most of the time players dodge the pvp only box running and 6x vs 1x interested them.
Its a shame.

Re: Where has pride gone?
Getting hunted by 6-mans or warbands has always been part of the game. With SOR and by watching AAO, you have tools to foresee a potential influx of players.
I think a lot of partys/WBs try to avoid blobs and search for fights in different zones. there is always a bigger fish in rvr.

Forget it, new times, new devs, and they like blob blob blob... I miss the old times too, but... new times...

Yes, it feels like this situation got worse over time. Dead zone, but always duo or group who hunt down soloers. They even chase you across zone if you're lowbie which give like 20 RP for kill.

Re: Where has pride gone?
Not sure, but my guess is the Killboard and lack of meaningful campaign progression. It’s all about RR, crests and kills now:-) I could be wrong

this !
if a wb coming into your empty zone and looking for small action without getting fully zerged is hard, then you can still get to the second empty zone and run boxes while waiting for balancing. and if balancing don't come. just don't feed them and they will probably leave.
As a solo or smallman you need to learn leaving the zone if the zone "don't want you" anymore. Read SOR and adapt. And if action is completly frozen for the solos (wich is pretty rare tbh) then just take a break, coffee etc and come bck later it will be probably better.
Actualy there's no point to complain because red is dead.
Re: Where has pride gone?
If you solo you look for 1v1 or 1v2/3.
If you play in 6 man you look for 6v6 or 6v12/18
If you play in warband you look for 24v24 or 24v48
Instead this server has gone the opposite direction where warbands are now shamelessly dodging their fights and instead grouping up with other warbands or going to dead zones to zerg down smaller groups.
Insane to me how people dont see this as a massive amount of time and effort wasted.

RVR is a meme since 6 years now. don't take it too seriously. if ya wish to have challenging fights go scenarios.

Re: Where has pride gone?
I blame organized gameplay. Vast majority of ror players are just messing around in pugs. Whenever such conglomerate is clashing with well coordinated premade of similar size the outcome is obvious. After few futile attempts people are starting to blob or just simple changing their current activity.
