Honestly its not that big of a deal. This just sets up new weapons and gear sets for higher levels.

well i guess that gives newbies and pugs something to do. because 99% of people dont wanna make the effort to lead a wb. they gladly ride with the blob to get some fast action. at its introduction the crowns felt like a very good idea for Realm coordination but after some time negative effects always occur.

i took a break again few weeks ago because of the state of the server. i hope it will be able to turn things around at some point because i love this game and its world.

I'm an altaholic with every toon but only 1 or 2 BiS or close to. I tend to get a character into conq or vanq just to get a sense of what the classes do.

I am actually pretty impressed with this game's gear sets . For example on my zealot and Rp I run the offensive set, (victorious is it?) 4 piece Endure proc that nerfs the attackers main stat while boosting your initiative. I play aggressively on theses healers as a stagger and silence to the enemy support really screws them up.

To that end I can get %15 strikethrough with lotd and a soulstone tali. My gear set is itemized around two spells according to my personal playstyle. That's fantastic. It's fun with these odder gear sets that cater to niche builds.

Standardizing stat values across gear sets sounds like a good idea. I've been too busy to log in and check it out. As far as weighing procs themselves on gear and armor that sounds like an impossible idea.

Hope this sorts itself out. We love this game.

i gonna let a really superficial review of the patch:

-> it seems to me this was a cospiracy to force ppl to do lost vale :D -> prove me wrong !

- good things of the patch: healers anathema weapons's stats has been changed to be appropriate

NB: for any reading a 5% dmg increase from bloodlord is way better than any proc, Weapon proc dosent work or aoe stuff, if you aoe 20 ppl (unless somthing changed, which can be, from 2 years ago) you can only proc the effect on 1 ppl...a 5% dmg increase for aoe skills per se or added to other % dmg increase on DD, is way way better, especially when you reach primary stats cap.

I will watch this thread with great interest. Unfortunately i don't have much more to add, since im just a community member, but godspeed with fixing the game y'all.

You guys are overreacting. After all, we have wl all these years, and NOW you noticed something is wrong? Like really, if everyone got a bit nerfed, who really lost? A WL now need 0.3 seconds more to kill lowby? I see this as a huge win

It's one thing to nerf things, that's fine(well not for some ppl), but when an ilvl 50 chalice is better with +5 stats than an ilvl 66 one, cause the higher one has a completely useless proc eating 20 stats, that's not really just nerfing, that's just bad balancing and the proc costs/weights are just weird in general considering how little/none impact they have. Also scaling is a bit meh, but if they wanna bring lowbie power closer to max level that's fine by me.
And then ofc the weighting of the point allocation is bit weird, with crit and anti-crit and power/real stat costing the same for some reason and D&D costing way too much, so you get this feeling that if you have bad "premium" stats on an item, they could've been crit instead cause crit is so cheap relatively or just more raw stats even.
