Yet another solo QQ thread

Guys when you suggest changes to Witch Elves or Hunters you need to know the class a little bit before throwing a suggestion. The idea to cull stealth is bad because there is no trade-off and you just want to neuter it as if we are talking about the easiest class to play. Stealthers are the most difficult class to play so if you want to make it weaker you are just bad. All you need is to outlive the initial burst and then you kill them. You need to have good anticrit and defences if you are badly geared or glass spec'd then sorry, you are an easy meal. Do not turn your back on them. You need to detaunt them and slow them and you are the winner.

Stealth is already weak - no AP Regeneration and 30 sec cooldown is nonsense. I remember times when I could regenerate AP and my stealth runs where 2-3 minutes long. Now every minute I need to hide and wait for 30 sec. Do you really think it is fun? If you are caught off stealth you are pretty much done. Healers can outheal your burst and dot you to death. We are not proper crowd controllers as rogues are in other games, especially witch hunters. Just create a stealth toon and play it to know how to counter it instead of coming here to whynge and ask for ridiculous changes.

Id like to get more discussion about other classes too. And not necessarily nerfs, but buffs too. Things like ib grudge from dots.

Im one of those whos still w8ing for the return of "Grumble and Matter"
and i would like to see mSW returning to solo roam, but the ini change destroyed that spec, so it requires a huge changes, and with the removeal of parry from WS the Assault stance stats bonuses require total reevalutation.
also i think that mSH are undervalued in therms of roaming.

There's a handful of aSW that actively solo roam, including myself, and the only reason is for the love of the class or if you're masochistic (again, like me) and like non-meta classes. The abilities and tactics of aSW are decent and synergise well, on paper. However, its stats are lacklustre, like you mention, and its toolbox is just a shadow of other classes.

aSW is sub par for solo roaming.
aSW can perform OK-ish in a 6-men, but there's no reason to take it over WL, WH or Slayer.
aSW has no role in a WB.

Asw is very rng character, and only against mdps I think, tho I dont play one myself. When playing marauder or choppa its often just about if I parry the disarm or not. They have on demand skills and hit very hard, but cant really take a beating. Also even in Asw stance they tend to be able to deal enough ranged dmg against other melee, so they can just kinda finish the fight in melee.

I added topic of slayer and choppa kd duration which is now 2 seconds, to be improved to three seconds. granted, its undefendable kd, but tied to rage so only usable pretty late. 2 seconds means that its very hard to capitalize on the kd. It is decent counter to parry morale.

Also in 1v1 discussion the comparison of mirror classes is kinda wrong way to think these in my opinion, as for example engineer and magus or choppa/SL will encounter very different type of enemies.

Nonono, aSW shines really bright in 6v6/6men, it pairs nice with WH or WL or even slayer (like Advar team played). Its the only gamemode where aSW can be played really competetive. It has dmg, mobility, it has its own KD, hard to catch&focus down if played well. Literally the only niche where playing aSW makes alot of sense.

Pretty suboptimal spec choice for solo roaming tho, i agree. Surely better off as hybrid or rSW of any spec
