Currency drop for t2-t3 chars.

During lvling of another toon, i stuck with a problem, that we have t2-t4 RVR now and basically it's tons of 40 lvl 50 rr player so when you kill them with your 20-30+ lvl(with 20-30 rr) char they drop crests and medals which you can't change untill rr 30-40(cause of stupid requirement of RR), so you basically stuck with green gear or SC(and SC don't poping in this tier) gear which suck ass.

So let's remove this nonsense requirement from exchange currency, to get the gear that you deserve on your level, which earned from hard fight. 8-)

Keep your rr 10 ranks higher than your character rank. Not to mention that you get plenty officer meds to convert into soldier ones and the set costs are so low, when you do plenty rvr in t1 you can almost buy t3 set.

Someone who is just actively fighting in t1, there is no xp-off or reduction, is called a newbie farmer? Do "fair" players now farm pve till rank 16 and skip the core of this game? I would call this an insane logic.
When a few evenings last ages for you, then the problem might be on you, not the game.

In few evenings in old WAR i could made a 70rr toon. So yes it's ages. I loved WAR cause of it "quick"speed progression, but here, it's like home for the elderly. Everything that can be slowed is slowed.

You mean defending the empty point, to get freenown and exp. Such a gameplay such a "Core"

On my last char i take no pve till 20 lvl and gain crest that i can't convert when i fight in t2-t4, that is the problem.

Yeah, we should sell progression packs like on live, to speed up progression to rr70 or even 80.
/irony off

The live server progression was no different, when you exclude all the inflationary bonuses.

When your "no pve till 20" leveling path means warbands and standing semi-afk on flags, then I don't doubt you struggle with currency. Kill more and you will have more currency than you could ever need.
T3 sets can be easily bought with officer medaillons, no need to convert conq meds at that point.

Average dps zealots would give this thread a 2/10.

First of all, Sulorie is basically right when saying it's the wrong game for quick leveling, but it's neither that harsh nor that difficult to level actually.

Also you have to define "quick" and "ages" for yourself, but from my PoV as a casual, but regular player with around 10-15 hours playtime per week it didn't feel that slow then leveling my toons to rank 40 and at least RR 40.

So how can I help you: Staying in T1 at least to RR 25 (20 is easy, 25 moderate and 30 rather hard) will save you plenty of time in T2+. Why that? The sooner you reach RR 40, the sooner you can just "powerlevel" through PvE for your rank 40.

Use AAO or go a bit solo in T1 and it's not a matter of many days to get out of T1, be it with low population (better roaming) or more on EU prime / Server time (more kills and locks in short time).

From T2 upwards: Mix RvR with SCs and do some quests - preferably the epic ones - from time to time. SCs give more XP/RR per time spent, but you will not get Medaillons for RvR sets (if you need them, instead you can use SC gear/weapons), but in RvR you will get plenty Soldier and Officer Medaillons to wear Obliberator and Devastator as soon as you reach the rank, even with Annihilator it's easy because when you reach level 39 this way, you can convert enough Medaillons for it, plus some RvR drops on top.

And: Leveling is faster in your racial pairing, because you get XP boni from quests and in-quest kills.
Furthermore SCs give boni depending on you tier (higher tier = higher reward), but SC pops in middle bracket are rare from what I heard, maybe it's better now after summer break.

Last thing: Don't go solo all the time, unless you have a class and love solo ganking. Group up for PvP and you will have more fun and good zone contribution for rewards in RvR.

Hope it helps a bit...

Are you really trying to teach me how to play WAR? With tons of 80+ toons in old WAR, and 10+ here?

I'm just giving you the fact that with my 30/30 new char i have enough of high tier currency, that i can't change to buy gear on my lvl, cause t2-t3 don't drop cause of absence of players of this lvls and t4 ones i can't change.

On old war there was no such problem, cause there was no restrictions to change currency. Not admiring the fact that "RVR" ones dropped from kills in SC.

We have to assume, that you need a lesson, because you are 30/30.
You get officer meds everywhere in rvr and you can convert them with rr30.
Even rr40 isn't too far fetched for a rank 30 char.
There are plenty lowranks in rvr, I can't understand your trouble finding them. Every open warband has about half their players sub40.

Given the fact that I don't know you or your experience from live, and thus only trying to help you with some hints, if you basically ignore all from my previous post because you already know it, it still comes down to what I wrote:

So if you leveled a 30/30 toon, it makes obtaining the proper gear a bit more complicated, that's it.

And even if you now want to obtain Devastator, you can buy boots/gloves for a few gold on AH and need 61 Solider Medaillons... you can't tell me you don't have them at 30/30, you should have plenty Officer ones to break them down.
