I think you should focus on reading comprehension instead of making assumptions and straw man arguments. I mained a shaman for 5 years on live and have an 80+ shaman on this server. During these 8 or so years of playing shaman I have not even tried playing one as dps. Personally, I could not care less if the nuke dps shaman as I consider, and have always considered it, to be a healing class. Thus, people wanting to nerf healing shamans because of niche solo gamplay against one of the best solo classes in the game should, just as I wrote, stop.

So much forum whining about a tactic that really didn't impact much outside of 1v1 fights and small-scale encounters. Sure, it made a solo DPS build stronger...but it also nerfed the best part (survivability) of the least effective burst healer in the game. Grats!

Sure, why not? Or, maybe, give it something to make heal spec more viable. The current state of forum whine leading to crappy class changes is basically Cancel Culture. An angry mob make unsubstantiated claims and have classes deleted.

agreed on cancel culture and sometimes it led to some questionable changes. But I also think that classes/races should be unique and balance should be reached not by copying, but creating counters. like pounce was to catch goblins, but was nerfed for no apparent reasons other than some casters not wanting to spend time analyzing their surroundings and getting killed by WL/mSH :mrgreen:

OP WL was exactly the reason why Run Away existed. But alas, whiners deleted WL too. Outside of that ridiculously OP m1 root, they didn't need to be nerfed THAT bad. So now we get 2 nerfed classes instead of 2 viable classes.

and the reason why WL existed was runaway :mrgreen: yeah it would be better to delete m1 root than wreck class defining ability. WL/goblin counter-balance was one of the few things mythic got right in designing the game
