IB punt needs a buff..

Hello,

Ironbreaker, one of the coolest, hardest to play right Order tanks that require alot of effort to play alrdy because you do not only guard swap, you also swap your Oath Friend constantly if you want to be most effective. I don't want much, I don't want anything crazy, what I want, doesnt require much work and could be probably changed in 2 mins.

Buff the Punt please.. It was the reason I ever made a IB. It was never the strongest Punt but it was one of the strongest Order Punts with no investment. Now Punts are incredibly strong especially the new BO punt since you are literally 5 second in the air helpless completely out of position. Same for the BG punt that scales with Hatred which you get for free any ways. If you don't wanna remove the cost, at least buff the punt to be something special again. I do not understand why IB was completely left out in the changes 2025. This is literally not fair in any ways no matter how you wanna justify it.

Another thing. Its not a huge bug but the IB corps resist Tactic is still not functional. The class needs work and yes I do understand how durable IB's can be but any tank can reach that nowadays with enough block/dodge/disrupt.

I think its only fair after IB having to deal with the weakest single and aoe punt (Needs a tactic) in the game for so long.

Kinda agree. I would remove the grudge cost. I don't really mind the punt itself. At the end of the day I am fine playing how it is, not really an issue in sc or wb. But there is always some awkward moments in smallscale where I find myself short in grudge. Really more convenient for other tanks to go in totally dry.

The corp resist is a racial tactic and good against WEs (when you know they play def) as well as Zealots and Magi.
If you mean not funtional as buggy, corp resist buffs occasionally don't show in the char window, but are still applied according to .getstats.

If pount got eveided, you get grudges back.
Example
Snb:when ussing "away with ya" ib and his oath friend got, cannot be setback while casting spells for Xs.
( quite good in rdps caster meta)
With 2h: when ussing " away with ya" ib and his oath friend gets 5%strikethrou. Xs. (Both effects can be scaled with grudges)

How can you play defense when you get knocked down and silenced, then dead before you can even move? You're dead before you can get up, let alone built up the grudge to use it...

Pretty sure he was referring to the stubberness tactic to increase your corp resist, which you don't need grudge for to have it work, just luck to have it slotted before anyone corp dmg related hits you.
Anyone corp dmg related won't kill you in one kd either, so you should be able to parry/hit/get hit a few times to generate grudge to then pop stubbern as stone or runic shield->stubbern as stone to further increase your corp resist.
You could even carry around the wind impervious set and switch to whatever ring you need for the opponent you're facing if you got the chance.
Armor ignoring WEs eating big chunks of your hp is another story, but they've been toned down I've heard.

BG long punt requires 90 hatred, it's the worst one for starting a fight
Then, both BG and IB have a great range and only 10s CD without any tactic
Not sure they need a buff ;
For once I'd rather see other tanks nerf, giving them long punt only for 2h
Chosen/Kotb may get some rework too: range is low and they punt the guy so high, no one notices
