Weekend Warfront: Battlemarsh
Things have degenerated in the Marshes of Madness. As both sides struggle for dominance of the crucial battlefield, unable to establish control, veterans of the battles at the ruins of Mourkain conflict return to the site to once again take up arms for the cause. The heroes of Order and the champions of Destruction have but one goal: take control of the Mourkain Temple, once and for all!
This weekend Battlemarsh will be the weekend warfront from 12:00 on Friday to 12:00 on Monday Altdorf time. You get +50% XP and Renown in the Mourkain Temple scenario, and extra rewards from completing the event tasks.
Complete all tasks to earn the title "Marshreaper".
Realm versus Realm
The tiers in Ranked Solo are using a new system, instead of the two tiers being RR1-69 and RR70+.
All new characters will start in the lower tier. If you have played at least 15 matches and have an MMR of 1450 or higher, you will move up to the higher tier.
To stay in the higher tier you will need to maintain an MMR of above 1450. But after switching tier, you can't switch again until you have played at least 10 matches in your new tier.
The initial tiers of all characters will be set based on the matches played and MMR in Preseason 2.
When a new season starts, your MMR will be reset, but you will stay in your previous tier, until you have played at least 15 matches in the new season.
Combat and Careers
Reverted the removal of IsMounted conditional for sending pet in to attack, stay, autocast, and back off.
A new interface for Ranked Scenarios has been added. Open it with the medal icon near your minimap, or with the /leaderboard command.
For each week that has passed in a Ranked Season, you need to have played at least 5 games to earn a placement on the leaderboard. This interface will tell you how many more matches are needed to reach that. The Ranked Preseason 2 has been going on for far too long, so the requirement is currently 105 matches, but once Season 2 actually starts it will be easier for more players to reach this requirement.
The in game support ticketing system has been revamped. You can now append notes to some appeals and Game Masters can do the same effectively having two-way communication.
Here is an example:
Aggro distance on Lector Twins fixed
The ToK unlock can once again be triggered
You can once again click on the cage to free Halathan Mournvale
Captured White Lion can once again be attacked
Archibald Yarden is once again attackable
There is no longer a CD of 60 seconds to interact with the flag drop
These NPCs are once again attackable
- The message displayed for switching ranked solo tiers has been fixed.
- Adjusted minimum gear level for queueing for ranked solo.
