Weekend Warfront: Days of Doom

The ancient site known as Doomfist Crater is one steeped in myth and lore. Now Order and Destruction forces converge upon the broken landscape, determined to deny their enemies access to whatever treasures may lay buried beneath the surface.

This weekend Days of Doom will be the weekend warfront from 12:00 on Friday to 12:00 on Monday Altdorf time. You get +50% XP and Renown in the Doomfist Crater scenario, and extra rewards from completing the event tasks.

Completing all tasks gives the title: The Doomed

Quests
Karak Eight Peaks
- Fourth Timez A Charm will now give credit for the quest for completing the public quest. This should ensure that all players present get quest credit.

- It Ain’t Bad in Da Gudlands (Part 1) - The task to 'Obtain a Boom Stick from Thane Grofsson at the Fireforge’s Camp PQ' will now give credit to all players in a party who kill Thane Grofsson, instead of the one player who loots him.

- It Ain’t Bad in Da Gudlands (Part 2)- The objective to kill enemy players no longer is restricted to dwarfs.

- Wut Wuz Yers: You will now have to sabotage Sky Admiral Drakkzharr's gyrocopter next to be Peak Tower... He may not like it


Karaz-a-Karak
- Black Grudges will now give credit for the quest for completing the public quest. This should ensure that all players present get quest credit.

- That’s Some Brouhaha (Part 1) - The task to 'Obtain the Tickin’ Fuse from Clawmaster Skritchak at the Hindelburg PQ' will now give credit to all players in a party who kill Clawmaster Skritchak, instead of the one player who loots him.

- That’s Some Brouhaha (Part 2)- The objective to kill enemy players no longer is restricted to greenskins.


Greenskin Chapter 22
- Beat Squirmz: You will now have to take the Stunty Banner within twenty minutes, like mentioned in the quest


Live Events
The Stronghold Saga is drawing to a close as the dwarfs and greenskins celebrate their victories within the halls of Karaz-a-Karak and Karak Eight Peaks.

The Return to Ekrund will end on Monday October 11th Noon Altdorf Time
Blood in the Water will end on Monday October 18th Noon Altdorf Time
War on the World's Edge will end on Monday October 25th Noon Altdorf Time

The Return to Ekrund

- Reduced the amount required for "Defend Your Realm's Holdings" and "Attack your Enemy's Holdings"


Items

- Appearances of "Mugwump" and "Stifled Veteran's" shoulders, which are rewards of a quest, have been corrected

"Decimate the forces of..." is much harder to complete when the zone isn't active (which is most of the time now), could that one also be reduced?

Also it seems there's some new players joining the server after the new capitals announcement, will they have enough time to complete all the events now?
T2 Dwarf zones aren't even active for most of the time, you only get them for about an hour after a city siege, they should be made open more often honestly (not all the time though, coz it will cause the same activity issues as T1, better make them locked for some time and open up to concentrate the activity, just more often than City cycle).

Also the rewards are a bit... i remember hearing the event was planned to be done on the main character only, but the way rewards work doesn't really reflect that, you still need to do it on multiple chars if you want the cosmetics on multiple chars, which is no different from any other event.
If the final rewards (the items themselves) were account-bound you could at least freely move them between characters to use/apply the appearance. Though that still requires some events to be done on each side or on every race for a full clear.

A patch focused on the new content only as the game needs attention to its most important things. That was my fear but not a surprise.
Classes balance
Rvr ideas to make ppl enjoy it more instead have a dozen players sleeping in front of the keep being sieged, like seasonal changes for example.

To add to that, the hard part is that the kills are only given to the party with the highest damage (from what I understand). So healers are pretty much out of luck unless your in a good group. I have almost zero kills in those categories.

What the heck to think these events are for the past few months? I don't think new PvE dungeon will help all that much, the PvE player base isn't that big on this server.

So another month without non-dwarf/greenskin sc? Even a single EvC sc would help to get some quests done for people leaving t1 and trying to do keeper set quest. :)

Im not able to join the event sc. Im not even able to see the event in qq. I did restart the launcher at least 15 times.

Do you see SC outside of qq with default UI?
