Those comparisons are not equal. The pounce 'result' is not equal.

WL Pounce result
-Can be preceded by becoming un-snarable / un-rootable
-Can initiate a 25% heal debuff for those within 25' (easier to spread due to immunities)
-Can escape via charge
-Far more damage due to Armor Pen tactic (there are 3 'ands' in the tactic description!)

mSH Pounce result
-not immune to root/snare

-Less damage than Whirling Axe because the SH doesn't have a similar Armor Pen tactic

Would be a fair comparison if mSH had:
-root/snare immunity on pounce for 10 seconds
-Armor penetration 25% on Big Bouncing (add a few 'ands' to one of the mSH tactics...)
-Heal Debuff weapons for Destro

Dead horse at this point. Either nerf the monster or create more monsters. Slayer is still damn good btw, just not overtuned. Slayer ID still initiates reckless gamble procs' , which remove challenge, etc. Appropriately supported Slayers are beasts. The reason of their rarity is due to the fact its a heck of a lot more effective to play a WL.

Squig can apply a heal debuff whenever he wants, and it is 50% effective for 9 seconds from a distance of 65-95 feet, and it can be used with any weapon. The lion has a 10% chance of applying a debuff, which lasts for 7 seconds and is only 25% effective, and it can only be used with one axe.
AM, BW, SL, SM, WL, Engi, RP, WP, Kotbs - all 80+ and BIS.
BO and WE for easy game on mid tier sc.

The voices in my head tell me you're talking about ranged SH, not the melee version with pounce.

You now what´s funny? WL doesn´t need any heal debuff to kill you anyway.
Heal debuff here and there but WL outperform any other melee class when it comes to the burst at the end.
But, I am against WL nerf. No nerf pls. Buff other classes instead. That would bring some more fun :)

I'll reveal a terrible secret. When you play as a lion, you start beating noobs without buffs or potions. And you never start with players from good guilds. This way, a good player will never die from a lion if they have at least one healer.

If we consider a wb vs wb fight. Then the noobs on the destruction side die first from the lions because they don't know what proper positioning means. They don't know what constant control is, and they don't know what squig focus is. This is a direct result of the faction balance policy over the past 3 years, where constant nerfs on the order side allowed destro players to press 1-2 buttons without thinking and receive rewards for it.
AM, BW, SL, SM, WL, Engi, RP, WP, Kotbs - all 80+ and BIS.
BO and WE for easy game on mid tier sc.
