gear for city dungeons?

we are currently working on the first boss of the altdorf city dungeon, the necromancer something, is it only a dps check or is there any mechanic? we running a ib snb a sm snb a bw a engineer and an am and wp, all conqueror level except the am and bw tha are invader, we are killing the specters but we get barely no time to hit the necro boss, should we change something?

Boss encounter:

The boss will spawn a "spirit" attacking party members, make sure to kill/cleave this add asap.
The boss will do a pbaoe knockdown, healers should keep their distance to not get knocked down (this ability as any pve ability can crit, make sure to be low/0% chance to be critted)
Several times during the encounter a wave of small monsters will spawn, save morales and challenges to clear these mobs.

At 20% two slowmoving lvl55 mobs will spawn at the end of the room, if you tank the boss at the stairs close to entrance you buy yourself more time before these two adds will reach you. If you can burst down the boss from 20%-0% before they reach your party. or send a tank or healer to kite the monsters while your damage dealers are killing the boss.

Running with pve tactics on healers, tanks and dps will help not having random aggro issues and just focusing on mechanics of the encounter, just like 0.00%chance to be critted will prevent sudden burst of boss abilities critting for 5-6k + guarddamage

(BW specific advice: Get CQ tactic on and spam fireball/feiryblast but make sure you are tanky enough to be in close combat. This is your best pve DPS
