Textures.

Hello.
Im here to ask about editing or changing textures in game.. I mean, there is any way, to change color of armors, body, etc. ? Im was looking for it in the Google, but nothing find.. :cry:

I'd be interested to know as well. It's my personal opinion that the High Elf artwork is shoddy and I would like to know if it's possible to work with it. Thanks.

u cant atm its bugged and it will be fixed eventually but atm the dev team is fixing more important things like stats the coming T1 for greenskin and dwarfs and maybe the rr and xp from wining a sc? so yea dyes will come eventually but not now.

Friend.. I don't saying about dyes.. Just to change a color of items on somelike GIMP, or something like that. ;)

If you want to edit the games textures, you should take a look at this: Niftools. But it's a bit difficult/will take some time if you have zero knowledge about the tools.
Before you can even start, you have to extract the textures from the gamefiles using this: easymyp

He's asking about changing texture files of the game (like this) not to color the armour ingame (with dyes). :)

Well, this would be a way to fix my armor issue...
It just never crossed my mind, as I've tried to edit texturing for this game before. Problem being; Warhammer file directory is pretty heavily encrypted. I'd have to give it another go to see if I can help.

We could really use a tool to modify game files in an orderly fashion. Other games that use this game's engine (the Gamebryo engine) such as Fallout: New Vegas and Skyrim already have such tools. I wonder if anyone here could make such a thing happen. :P
