There are very many lore issues with WAR. WPs lack of shield is not glaring, since there are plenty of Warrior priests that prefer using Great Weapons. (they also could duel wield btw). I would be more in favour of giving WPs an additional hand weapon, and give Doks access to Greatswords, then I would giving either access to shields.

As for bigger lore issues? BG - SM weapon options, Role of WEs, existence of Doks and male sorcs. Choppa's name etc.

I am in favour of using cosmetic appearance to sate the lore needs, and to make the armies of Order and Destruction fuller and Diverse.

On a side not, when I am doing SC or Roaming with SnB, my BlOrc's shield appearance is a choppa. I am however painted all Chaos Black, and have the Dark Angels green for skin tone. I am colour coded for your convenience.

Shields for WP is indeed a ridiculous idea, but what do you think about dual wielding 1h hammers? Does that have any chance of happening at least for like a week as a test?

if it's for appereance is fine but wp have alredy a parry buff for the lack of dual weild while dps, i dont think would be right for dps dok see that happen.

No one cares because DPS DoK is already miles better. If DW is better than 2H fix that, don't try to block with "b-but dps dok!" I would actually like a 2H on my DoK simply because I hate the dual wielding animation that Transfer Essence uses.

Why exactly shield for wp is a bad idea? It don't make him op healer because he loses fury regen, just gives melee wp a choice: use 2h and do more damage, or be more tanky.
As we all know, snb > 2h, so maybe it would make melee wp's more viable without drastical mesures like that last detaunt fix.

According to the wiki magus-us-s (magi?) could fly around with their discs of tzeech higher than the allotted 2ft off the ground. They cant even glide over water ingame ( i think they use to though when it was released).

Also dark elf sorcs are suppose to be female only. Not only that but the DEs would rather of sided with the empire over chaos lorewise since it was their hatred of chaos that drove them to using dark magic.
