Seeing the dev team are willing to make ballance changes pre t4 now with the WP, is it possible to finaly get a mechanic for healing AM and Shamman? Imo these 2 classes were more waranted a ballance change then WP who is the top healer for order. I main a WP and i don't think the class was so very highly prioritzed to be buffed over the other two.
There's probobly alot of stuff that needs to be changed to make these 2 classes viable. So i have a quick sugestion.
Make their groupheal a mirror to BW's Annahilate or WP's Martyrs Blessing but only hit group. Make it exhuast mechanic that you build from healing to make it stronger.

Maybe change the mechanic to, instead of reducing the cast time of the spell that actually has a cast time maybe reduce the AP cost of the spell? For Example if you have 5 points in Mork the Group Heal costs 0 AP?
Lets face it, youll never build up 5 Points in Mork with your DMG abilities when running in a premade because by the time youve clicked 5 of your DMG abilities your group is probably dead. (at least for me

I'd rather look at the Archmage and Shaman mechanic MUCH later than now... because of the class's original hybrid intent.

let the mechanic increase damage/heal for all, not just instants, get rid of castspeed decrease. Make stacks disappear over time, rather then on use. Should be a bit strong at first but I don't think making hybrid stuff easier helps the pure heal shaman/am, which, imo, is more important for a wonky hybrid spec.

AM healing is ok, the class need abit more surviving tools and will be pretty good
Shamans need some healing tweaks cos their healing is quite awfull
I always support gheal change cos it is pretty retarded way to play but the game design push you to spam it. So anything that help to prevent the gheal spam is good. Not to mention that AM/Shaman gheal spam is weakest one. Dok/wp got fast cast gheal, zealot/rp got alot procs from it. Shaman/AM could get desperation/aint done yet. If luck. At t4

I'm torn on this one. I have seen a few (1 or 2) players doing AMAZING healing on AM/Shaman even under pressure, while kiting a whole enemy premade.
So the classes are definitely viable. It's just that they are like 1000 times harder to play than a WP or Dok.

the thing is you can do the same or better with rest of the healers. The healing spells at war/ror are quite mirrored among the classes so it is important what do u bring to the group.
WP/DOK bring healing under pressure, much more tough and group cleanse

I dont know what happened in the later parts of WAR. I quit playing and recently came back to RoR
Shaman is my main one. Just as it was on live. Love the Shaman and his silly abilities.
The main thing i think is wrong with him is Eeeek! The skill was perfect first time when it knocked enemies away from me and me backwards. Used it quite a lot to escape (if my memories are correct). Then they changed it to do the same except blast me in random direction. It cause med flying into lava countless times, into order groups to my death countless times. BUT it was exciting to see where i went, would i survive, so in the beginning i did not like the change but it grew on me.
Now there is blasting myself away in random direction movement when i use it... A part of the soul of the shaman died when i found this out. I think it is supposed to a little crazy and it needs Eeeek! to be that crazy! Now... i hope i am not the only one to think this.
On the regards of survivability and healing output i have no comment for now since i feel like i do not have the right gear to see what i can do. I have crap gear and working on fixing it. I have not gotten the feeling that i am maximizing the Shamans healing power yet and i can not really comment on what to fix in that regards at this moment. BUT i have a feeling that something is changed in this area.

When everything is good i throw dots around to build up the meter and can cast powerful healing if needed.
