Besides. It's not our place to make decisions for him. He must speak for himself.

Out of curiosity what is the reason behind having RoR closed source?

It's work done from scratch by the dev team.

Creating a working server with basic functionality should be open source, which it is. When work that is done by a team for the intention of hosting their own server with their name on. Well, would you want everyone to download a copy of your work (thousands of hours) and set up their own server? :D

The open source code does get small updates, but nothing to the extent as this server has. I personally think it makes more sense to have one project of the game. It will centralise everyone and in my eyes, that benefits the community.

No fun in running around no a server with 2 people on at most. Granted at the moment the population is still fairly low It's progress.

I agree with that. If we can attract more people here in the long run it will be for the best :) I guess even though this is a free project, sharing is not necessarily the best thing to do. (ea / mythic / gw didnt want to share)

Erm, bank support was already added in WarEmu: https://github.com/WarEmu/WarEmu/commit ... e55ad4cb3a

Aren't you the guy that's been posting this on like every forum in the last few months? All talk and nothing to show.

Would be better to talk about WarEmu on the WarEmu forums?

Merged with your previous topic.
