Re: Heaven's Fury / Quake
Just dropping by to say that this change won't be considered until T4, and only then if KotBS and Chosen are proven:
a) not to have mandatory tank status within groups in T4
b) not to develop that status with 5s stagger

Re: Heaven's Fury / Quake
How is it not useful? Taking someone out of a fight for 3 seconds is a useful thing to do, considering that ttk in this game is around 3s. So if you want to burst a target down with their healer disabled you have a 3s window to do it in now instead of a 9s one, meaning you have to actually coordinate before you use the ability and then burst the target down quickly. But before when they were 9s - then you didnt even have to coordinate a thing, you could just stagger, casually tell your group after you hit the ability, and still have 5-6s to switch targets and burst. Seems way more skill based this way.
It would still take a little bit of timing if it were 5s, I wouldnt mind that, but i still prefer 3s. If you want a longer disable bring a rp/zealot or a bg/ib. If you want a ranged aoe disable bring a knight/chosen. Cant have it all on one class anymore, as it should be. Whereas if they were made 9s again, why even bring an ib/bg afor heal debuffs, a 9s stagger is a much better heal debuff and you get all the other knights/chosen buffs, so might as well bring 2 of em mandatory in every group. Yea, no thanks.

I agree with Sizer. 3 seconds seems pitiful but that is likely due to a lack of highly organized coordination.
To those that perform it well, it can still have great results even at 3 seconds. I definitely was not trying to advocate a return to 9s... It just felt like 3 was poor.

So you just stated 3 seconds duration is fine for coordinated groups?mursie wrote:I agree with Sizer. 3 seconds seems pitiful but that is likely due to a lack of highly organized coordination.

I do not see any reason to extend its duration then

Re: Heaven's Fury / Quake
Yes - my mind has been changed. I felt its duration required extension because it felt useless. I then said - it is useless when not used in a highly organized and coordinated effort.Rebuke wrote:So you just stated 3 seconds duration is fine for coordinated groups?mursie wrote:I agree with Sizer. 3 seconds seems pitiful but that is likely due to a lack of highly organized coordination.
