Client download issues and troubleshooting

Elven I just downloaed the game and the launcher but when I open the launcher I'm joining the game and I can see only credits , cinematic,settings and I don't see the characters and servers can you heko me:!!: sorry for my bad English

Hello, I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong or what's missing I've tried the suggestions from the other troubleshooting post on the forum but just can't get the game to work. Below is the error message I get when I attempt to log on via the provided launcher for the server.

uncheck read only on the warhammer folder or if that not works on war.exe. alternative: copy the folder from your desktop to one of your hardrives.

Make sure there's no other program i.e utorrent running while you're trying to load the game.

Try moving the game folder and run as administrator. The last person I helped with this problem said that brute force spam clicking on the connect button in the launcher eventually let him play.

Windows 10 users

High light all files and folders, (no need to go into the subfolders).
Right click
Properties
Unselect "read only"
A pop up will appear asking if you want to fo the same to the subfolders, select "yes"
Now run the RoR Luancher

I grabbed the dl via torrent. I have downloaded 7zip, winrar and winzip and none of these options allow me to unzip it. They do however allow me to compress it which makes me think that the files are already unzipped. This could or could not be an issue. Once there, I run the launcher and it asks me for my log in info to which Im using my forum information unless there is another log in information but I don't see anything about setting up an account for a first time user. Suggestions?

What is the file ending of your downloaded file
If it is zip rar 7zip or smth like that you should be able to open it with one of your applications.
If the file is just a folder without a file ending it is already unpacked and ready to work with.
