Concerning Pets

Is there any update as of yet for pet-mechanics for the various of careers that use them? Is that task perhaps a bit harder to implement than other mechanics?
My Squig Herder cannot as of yet herd his squig...

Squig is essentially set to "medium" aggressiveness. It's indeed hard to control, I try to compensate by launching only shortly before I need him, and attempting to re-launch when I cannot see him (don't always know if he has died or not in scenarios). My vote is that implementing level-appropriate Squigs (Spiked, Gas, or even Horned) would be more useful than more controllability of the Basic Squig. Basic Squig is practically useless in PVP as it does so little damage.

Yeah, I miss having a squig. Hope the code-smiths implement a proper mechanics system for them soon. :)

Actually, WL would be better off without a Lion. Lore wise speaking.

(unless you're supposed to be a lord from Chrace  )

Probably yeah. But not the squig herders though!

Could've had just a Goblin ranger who can switch between ranged and melee, and then be coupled with the SW in that field for a pure mirror. Then have the Marauder and White Lion switch between combat stances/mutations for a pure mirror. The only true RDPS is the BW/Sorc, anyhow. As the Magus/Engineer are better suited for AoE/support class mechanic, a hybrid class mix of RDPS/MDPS would be a nice thing to see.

But noooo, they just had to throw in a few pets for the wrong classes to mess up the balancing immensely. Such a shame.

A Warhammer world without the squigherder would feel rather empty tho? Epitome of the night gobbo! Its like having a greenskinarmy without squigs :/

The Squig is the reason ranged gobbo is fun at all in Warhammer Online in my opinion. It's a true harasser career all the way through, just like a gobbo should be. I remember sending my little evil ball of pixles to harass enemy healers with distrupt abilities, all the while I was debuffing dpsers with anti-heal 'arrer'dots and, in true gobbo fasion, hiding behind the bushes in scenarios. Good times. >:)
