ya as of today i am getting this error. only thin i can think i did differently is use deamon tools over winrar

Make sure read only is unchecked. Right click the game folder > Properties > uncheck "Read only" > OK.

If your game folder is in a torrent folder, move it to a different directory on your system.

This solved it for me. Do this and enjoy game!

Sometimes you have to tweak the compatibility mode. You may have to go so far as to set XP compatibility, you shouldn't have to manually open the FW.
Don't right click and run as administrator, set the shortcut (You did put a shortcut on your desktop with the actual launcher in the root of the client folder right?) to always run as administrator.
As an added precaution, verify DX9 is installed.

kk so uncheck read only worked for me, like it brings up the warhammer loading screen... i cried tears of joy then it just shut down on me just like full alt f4 closed to desktop everytime, PLEASE HELP

Tried moving the game folder? If that doesn't work, try downloading the game again.
