Fair enough.

I am just thinking in terms of best "impact" to the group which I would probably put Chosen>ALL due to auras + crit debuffing.

As far as damage, I think BO > SM > rest as BO have higher crits, SM deal spirit damage.

I will say that there is a BIG difference between single target and "total damage". For instance, on my SM I can have some CRAZY games with 100k+ damage but the fact of the matter is that it was tons of AoE and not a TON of focused damage. Like if you are throwing out Wrath, proccing P.E. and then followed with Gusting which can also proc P.E., thats gonna be a few thousand damage if there are several targets around you, but none of it incredibly useful or something a few HoTs wont fix from Destro healers. So IF I happen to have a crazy game with 100k damage, probably atleast 40k of that was some type of "fluff" damage - similar to KotBS who run with All out Assault and can put them over 100k games... I personally dont count that as "damage" as it really didnt do much in the way of helping the group and they could have run some other aura, like "To Glory" or Toughness, or resists etc since you are usually giving up something to run Assault....

That said, I have found WW > ED by a LONG shot. At first I didnt see it until running Hoeth increases effectiveness of both Spirit Blade and Wrath debuffs making WW hit pretty dang hard, combined with the silence - is HUGE.

But if you want PURE single target damage, I would suggest BO for the sheer fact that Stab you Gooder combined with Gork Smash is just a CRAZY synergy - especially for Burst damage.
Sulfuras - Knight
Viskag - Chosen
Ashkandi - Swordmaster
Syzzle - Bright Wizard
Curz - Marauder
Andrithil - Blackguard

I assume y'all are talking about RR100 instead of our current R35 cap,
Agrot 35/40 Aggychopp 32/40
Grelin of Magnus/Badlands ;)

RR100 or R35 BO is still going to be top, purely because of that crit tactic. I would still say that, with decent crit, SM is a close 2nd. BG can get nice crits, but they don't seem to be as good as blurring shock/spirit debuffed ether dance - especially when armor becomes more of a thing later on.

Crit tactic with the amount of crit we have is okay but not great. If we have a critchance of 25% the tactic adds 5.6% damage. With 50% CC, it "only" adds 10%

You can get around 25% crit or more atm if I'm not mistaken. Huge crits are what you need to take out squishies more than anything else. If they have any time to react, and detaunt, then meh.

But yeah, at this level it may not be so clear-cut (I'm just a huge fan of nice big numbers, tbh)

Did anyone ever try out DPS 2H BG running anti-detaunt tactic back on live, and if so - what results did you get?

From what i remember in a train with everything focused on dps / high WS / crit, BG would be best sustained, infinite AP, 50% auto and detaunt immunity go a long way. IB has a great 2h spec and dps is similar to BG but without a reliable auto increase and without the detaunt immunity.

BO and SM got their spikes but can be detaunted and ignored, otherwise are the top burst with BO's SYF, ether + shock
knight/chosen i have no idea, but i can assume they come last for burst and sustain.

This is from the perspective of playing as a squishy slayer in a 6man with guard though. Theory aside, the highest i have seen is from BG's, but they don't work well without a burst dps assist.
