MOST versitale class? [Error 404, choice is not aviable]

Greetings,

NOW... you know... I'm one of those people which have HUGE problems to choose one class and >happily< last long enough with it... and what class/ career could be better for a "I don't know, I have no idea, are you sure?"-type than a versitale/ kinda jack of all trades hybrid?

The question is: IS there even some sort of... "most versitale" class? A perfect choice for unsure types like me, in your opionion? Would like to read your opinions about that. :geek:

Which faction? Well... my fav. are High Elves. But I'd like to play with the Empire, Dark Elves and Chaos as well.

I already have some preferences: I like melee as well as archery. Oh and I feel good if I heal my mates, just kinda like that feeling of being damn useful, when "**** just got real bro". :D

Sincere regards,

your Imeriath

I love my WP for this. It takes awhile to get the gear(I have 3 sets depending on what I am doing), but it's great for SC parties, ORvR, PvE in groups, and imo is the BEST solo PvE class there is. You can farm/grind nonstop on damned near anything. I have a feeling DoKs are similar to this, but never played one.

I enjoy my knight as well, but it quite simply isn't the same. I had a WL on Live that i enjoyed alot. I found them quite capable in all manner of styles.

best advice? Just try a few out. You'll find one that you love, and having a few alts is great, so you can play what your friends/mood wants/needs.

Archmage offers both a choice of healing and a decent ranged offence. They offer good healing with great kiting potential. DPS side, great kiting, and its Damage over Time oriented(great for solo, not so much group).

Swordmasters offer average tanking, but they have good offensive capabilities. A group won't take one as a main tank, but often will as an off-tank. Offence wise, they offer a lot of magical melee based attacks, which helps them hit fairly hard. They're great in the assist train with skills like blurring shock and are maybe the best peelers due to AoE knockback and strong snares. Also, their stat steal is incredibly strong and often overlooked. Stealing a large amount of initiative can really hurt.

WP explained above is a good choice if you're looking away from High Elves(you posted in High Elves so Ii made it more high elf oriented xD) Edit: Ironbreaker is also a versatile choice.

Guess I already choose rightly for me then: Sword Master, Arch Mage and Warrior Priest. :) Anyways thanks for reply! Guess it helped me a bit to be safe with my choices. ^_^

dps healers are always a good choice for versatility, just expect some community hate ;p
if not, i think some tanks can rock for both pve and pvp... i dont think we got access to all thats needed to make crazy hp/4 secs setups like there used to be on live yet tho... but eventually someday some ppl will make crazy regen ib/bg
AM - Greendreams
SW - Experiment
