You guys are probably right. I'm going to L2P and just let this be. I'll make sure to let nearly every other melee player know that we just missed this one. Our tears of rage blinded us by your unbeatable skill. And Storm, I know the concept is hard for you to wrap your brain around, but for lack of a pop out and or coloring book, I'll try and explain it on more a level you can understand. Not exploiting and standing stationary are two totally different things. You see, one requires movement. The other does not. One can kite w/out jumping. But with jumping one kites much better. Then labels it as skill. I'll let you decide which side of the fence you are leaning towards.

I'm pretty sure some of the top casters in the game have even stated that one jump is all that is needed to warp. So in reality... any caster who runs and jumps is technically bhopping. If you are a bunny. And he only hops once, we don' say wow that was a great jump/kite/leap. It is still a hop. While it is impossible to avoid this. I wish the people that do do it would just wear it and stop trying to defend it lol. Everyone knows you do it. So rather than post about being called a big bad name. Just reply, "Ur right, I do it b/c it works, and gives me a clear advantage to not doing it." - But hey, if you haven't been honest with yourself by now, I don't see any change in the future.

Take a chill pill dude. If there was too serious of a melee to caster warpy problem, I would be very vocal on the forums about it asking for change. You do realize that many players out here do have multiple toons. I need melee to function smoothly more than casting given my toons. Now for your personal experience on your computer and ISP, who can question that?

Dude, you post this because 3 ppl chasing YOU, (and YOU WITHOUT mount), can't reach you (two running plus one mounted!!), and you know what you do. And you say "i'm on a downhill" while that isn't true.

Explain HOW YOU can RUN (run while jumping, and NOT on a downhill) faster than a mount, without using the panic skill.
And Explain WHY you INSULT the people, beacuse that is a thing you don't speak, only i see is you saying what you need, but not the truth.

Dude, stop telling LIES, i have the screenshot with you misrespects and insults.

Learn how to play without using exploits/cheats instead of insulting ppl.

what happens to you in the usa?
I doubt this player was faster than a mount (+50% speed) only because of jumping. You can´t be serious imply this.
If this really happened, then some other bug/exploit must be happened and it is strange that the blamed player didn´t notice it.

about this so called "bunnyhopping" and why it is not an exploit: freshour already explained it, he only has the wrong conclusion of his own words.

And you didn't only state that you didn't noticed the issue, you also said others have no reason to bitch about.

Jumping is also used by kiters to change facing while allowing the inertia to carry you in the direction you were already moving.

The problem with jumping is that it exaggerates the the server lag gap. Often players that "exploit" this, are ones that get melee trained onto, they will not have jumped and then do so, this causes them to warp out of melee. Players located in Au or abroad have a hard enough time with latency/ping/server communication, and jumping compounds these problems.

All it takes is one jump to warp out of melee and the jump fix didn't really stop this from happening. Please refrain from flaming if you don't want your threads to get locked, you don't need to call out guilds or players on here, or entice a Epeen match off. If you have grievances with being "reported" please take it up with a GM

Which is why (IMO) the melee range on attacks should be increased just a TINY bit to compensate for this. Since often times as an NA player I end up spamming over and over and on MY screen they are in range, but on the actual server I am just outside of range.

Increasing the range would help quite a bit since it would/could be more than the ping registration which means that more things would connect and not cause as many issues.

I am NOT advocating for a HUGE melee extension, so dont get me wrong there.... Merely, I think 5 ft, bumping it to 6 would do A LOT to compensate for that.

now I did wonder if this is a west coast NA issue? as I do not have this problem on the east coast NA... neither does anyone in my guild apparently.
