Wipe gold out, especially on Dreamhouse ^^ Medallion wipes would be nice for t4 as dirty bastards with full deva keep stealing medallions keep thinking they can use them in t4 and get majorly ahead. Hope that wont happen.

Id 100% support a "moderate" gold wipe - if thats even possible.

Like allowing people to keep 100g, or 200g, or even up to 1000g on the high end. I was only around for ~ 1 week before the PVP quests were nerfed. I made ~ 100 gold just doing those quests for a few days... Now the cost of the flight eats up half the reward and its almost not worth the time turning them in.

Anyways, id wager a good chunk of wealth was obtained during that time, or other means of farming.

If you really want to remove "unfair advantage" thats probably the best way. Since any current gear will be obsolete come T4. Talis, weapons, potions, etc. So not a huge need to wipe that.

But gold isnt obsolete and some players have thousands if not tens of thousands (even knew a guy who said he had over 100k gold) which is just silly IMO. Part of the reason stuff costs so dang much.

I personally wouldn't mind a total gold and partial gear wipe. Give everyone 10g, wipe all their gear except influence stuff and quest rewards.

Personally there shouldn't be a wipe. I have been on this server since the day it has opened. I didn't play since day one working on my toons to get where i am now to have it taken. As far as gold it is not hard to make gold if you farm o learn a crafting skill and take the kill quests. For the new players well every game has new players you just have to put in the time like we did get good stuff. I have even given out gold to new players to get them a mount.

I would be upset from a wipe, I doubt anyone would be entirely overjoyed about it. But this was the 2nd time I have redone all my toons from 0(Live and here), and I still have a few more to go. A 3rd time wouldn't kill me. But relvling my WH is definitly not something I look forward too...

I created and played with the understanding that there has been a wipe in the past, there will probably be a wipe in the future, the game is in Alpha, the game is FREE, and most importantly, the DEVS PLAY THE GAME!

I don't forsee any choice or decision being made that would lead to the collapse of this server(other than legal outside actions which we all know about) by dev team. if they did decide to wipe, it would be for a reason, and honestly I think it would be AWESOME. You'd have ass tons of people smashing in the lower tiers for months as everyone lvls their alts and mains back. I remember on Live when the RR cap on based on LvL was changed, my entire guild rerolled a new toon, and we had an absolute blast rocking through the game together.

T1 is still my absolute favorite PvP of any game bar none. So I never mind rolling a new toon. And all the people who say they would leave. Well. King said it the best. “You are the grim, goal-oriented ones who will not believe that the joy is in the journey rather than the destination no matter how many times it has been proven to you.”

I doubt highly anyone would steal my dumbass names, but as posted earlier. Simply resetting toons to 1/0 would make me far happier. Not only due to my names, but I have buddies that I only know by a specific toon.

For me, the greatest part of the journey has always been after 40, and grinding to RR80. I know all of my guild mates, and multiple people from Volkmar feel the same. We all enjoyed the game much more post 40.

My reasoning for this is that from a team play perspective (and when I say team play I talk small 6 man or 12 man guilded group that roams the lake together and attempts to Zerg bust. Lately with my guildmates we have been running a ranged group for Keep defences and roaming in the lakes and been having an absolute blast. We are all incredibly excited about T4 coming out and are looking forward to the additional abilities and grinding to achieve Sov.

Personally, and I don't think I would be alone here, I am against a wipe at all. Not because I don't believe that new players deserve a chance, but rather - If I want to play in the lower tiers, I level an Alt. I don't want to have to do the same with my mains all over again.

Wiping all gold is one thing, but wiping all gear???
It really depends tho. If you do it in conjunction with adding new gear and open up new content it's not really that big of deal. It would give everyone even playingfield racing for the new gear.
Wouldn't mind that tbh. But just wipe and having people have to grind it again. I see no point in that.

Full wipe is the way to go imo, releveling again is like playing a new game
