Hello i have change my password on web and cant log in into the game, client says me invalid username, what can i do for play now?. Launcher says wrong name

The FAQ says it takes "SOME DAYS" for your password to update on the login servers??? Wat? Then if you do a password reset, it changes it to a password the launcher won't accept. Not real handy, lol. Why would numbers not work? This is a weird technical issue I've never seen anyone else ever have, lol.

lol, us neither, lol, so it's very hard to pinpoint the issue, lol, when nobody has seen it before, lol

Sorry, that's just the way it is. We would have already resolved it if we could - you can probably tell by the amount of posts this issue generates that it's very problematic for us, and we could very much use a fix for it.

Best advice is a simple, all lower-case password with no special characters. It only says it can take days, whereas normally it should take a few hours maximum - days is pushing it to the extreme just in case.

Hello again, i have changed my password after the sever came up again. I had reset the password with the web service, client still dont work. But my doubt is that i have read that the password must be with lower cases and letters, but the password the web had sent to me its with a lot of characters and caps. This new password is going to work?, because i have checked the website and i cant find how to change the new password how i want.

Hi!

I actually have the same problem. I can't log into the game. If I'm right the forum log in will be the game log in username and pw, or it's generated by the site. Well, I'm actually can log into the site and write comment here, because google memorized the log in UN and PW, but there isn't anything in my freemail mailbox about registering to Warhammer. I have forget the pw since my registration, so I cannot renew it at the moment, because it needs the old pw too.
Is there an PW reminder mail send option to my registrated mail box, or how can I solve it? - I don't want to create a new account.

Although there's a problem about the update of the password for the website and not for the game. Suppose that someone close to you (let say your brother, best friend, girlfriend) do something bad with your account (he knows everything, password, login and email). Then even if you change your password and email on the website, it wouldn't take effect on the game server, meaning during the time the change occures he can virtually do anything (selling your armor, sending himself your gold,...). I think (i'm in the last 6 months of my last year of IT engineer school) this is a potent security breach (well i know that kind of case don't happen everytime, but who knows how dumb and foolish are some users).
