I for one am extremely grateful that a cancerous, awful-looking pure black style used by people desperate to make their characters look as shitty and offensive to the eye as possible is no longer available. I wasn't involved with this process at all but I wholeheartedly support it, as I would for any other dye which manifested itself as a pure color or shade on all items (though admittedly, pure black is THE worst).

Textureless black models are quite jarring in a game this detailed. If the problem is that you do not like the texture on your current robe, is there any gear where you do like the detailing/texture?

There was already an option in chaos black for people that wanted to see the textures, now you've given players a darker option to chaos black while taking away the one option for a pure black color, which I'm sure there are others that wanted that as well. Some of the textures aren't the greatest particularly on cloth robes, and sometimes putting that black on hides some of the imperfections that show up on lighter colors.

I have noticed the staff fixing many things, and I appreciate you guys doing that work and keeping this server up for free. Just don't think this was one of the things that really needed to be fixed by completely taking it out.

and this new "black" looks way more browny than grey or black on robes

Some people don't show their helms or cloaks does that seem like a waste of time too? I assume armors are coming into the game for the levels they're available for, not for a fashion show. Not everyone uses the badab black, never seen an army running around with it, probably seen more people wearing white. I hate snot green but I don't take offense if someone uses it, it's customizing the look for themselves that they like.

Was just my opinion, it's not agreeable and I know this will not change, so we can just drop subject.

I really like the new black. Badab black wasn't even a color, it was more like a black hole for textures.

Edit: People should adjust their screen settings a bit, like Geni suggested it. For me it looks like most people play with too bright/high alpha settings when watching youtube and twitch streams.
