Both Classes have access to AP gains it just is a little easier on the shaman and less depending on procs. The Zealot has an AP tactic for heals and also down the single target tree it has a ground targeted 30sec aoe that gives a chance to get AP back when hitting with abilities, the Runepriest has it a little easier cause they have it on ability activation so it can go off from heals.Tevez wrote:That really helps and clears things up Ekundo01,
Having to only gear up one set makes Zealot a lot more favourable as it will make gear choices much easier and faster to obtain. Although with shaman the extra kiting it might make it easier for my friend to stick to one target and not have to save me constantly.
I remember using the AP drain on my shaman during Live but I dont recall if it was that usefull. At least when im playing now on my RP im constantly out of AP due to spamming heals and the occasional dps so would the AP drain really have much of an affect on me?
I think the class decision might just come down to what my friend goes. If he picks Greenskins ill follow the same where as if he goes Chaos ill do so likewise.
Cheers again for the info Ekundo
**Edit: Also how does Destruction fair in SC's and PvP in general? It seems they outnumber order from what ive seen on the home page. So far on my RP we seem to win almost all of our SCs (Granted this is only in T1 and we've won 9/10 games).
Im not sure if this is due to us having more healers than the other side but at the end of the game I usually top heals (provided we win the SC) and another RP will usually come second with a decent lead over the highest Destruction healer. The healing charts I guess are a bit skewed to the winning side, so it might not be a fair point to make. **
As far as SCs go, Destro is hit or miss sometimes. Sometimes we get no healers and order usually has a crap load but a lot of them are dps only and dont heal anyone but themselves. Winning a SC when you are not in a premade comes down to if you have heals, and someone bold enough to break back lines and not have people beating on tanks and also playing to the win of the SC and not just doing an all out slaughter fest. Even if you are losing you can still get some currency you just need to try to get your team as many points as you can before the end so even if you lose it is still worth it to try. But the SC info is all based on my east coast NA play time so it could be different during the day when i am not home.
