Come T4 its damage is generally worse then a true melee dps.

After playing both sides having "max" characters on both sides I can confidentally tell you MY personal bais is towards destro mainly because order looks so lame and my Chosen is like 10x cooler than my Knight while my SM - you cant even tell if he is in T1 gear or "BIS" gear.

The order melee classes LOOK so crappy in comparison. I truly believe that is why more people play melee on destro vs order. Just my 2 cents from maining a Knight for a long time and recently swapping to Destro.

Now when I log, having a 35 knight, sm, chosen.... there is a reason why the "chosen calls out to me " cause he looks to freaking badass!

When I first started playing WAR, I had just come from a wow arena background where I had played affliction lock extensively.

DPS AM was the class that I could resonate with more than any other, but I ended up maining the Magus simply because they look 10x better.

looks go a long way for a lot of players.

I will say, it would be really nice to have a filter system for the "Who's Online" tab here. Would be kinda cool to see the actual numbers on these things. Scs are random if you're pugging. I see melee trains on order too, and the RDPS cheese is heavy on dessie too.

order melee do look like a bunch of dorks
however with so many damn healers order only need a couple of knights and slayers in their train

This is why order classes should be OP. Destro looks so much cooler so everyone is always running around with a million choppas and chosen and doks. Whereas order, well, who the f wants to play a sm or wl or half naked slayer? All you get is bws and ams and a few knights. So therefore if the game is to be balanced order should get better abilities than destro.
