Can sign this. It's a damn good shooter, not like CS:GO but it can compete with it.

I have been playing it to fill the void now after I got bored with this. There is one final chance to get into the closed beta this weekend invites go out the 14th but it only for the weekend. Open beta starts like the 4th or 5th of may I think.

So far It's really good, maybe not living up to the glory days of TF2. Problem is the mutiplayer/mmo game market is so dogshit right now. If anyone told me I would be playing for months on a WAR private server a few years ago I would laugh at them.

Game is 40 dollars at the cheapest, I kinda like the fact it has a paywall though. We all know how the communities can be awful in F2P games :^) It started the decline of TF2, ruined HoN imo, and too many companies take the F2P model and make it cancerous (LoL for example).

That being said everyone should probably check out the open beta and decide if it is worth buying or not.

The best shooters I've played in awhile were the STALKER series. The level of detailing of the gunplay mechanics is crazy. Also good atmosphe.

Agreed. However, Tf2's decline began in the hat trading autistic merchants that spent 100x more time playing Hat Trading/Wearing Sim instead of Team Shooterman 2. Additionally, Dota is equally or more cancerous than LoL. This is not opinion, this is fact.

dota 2 doesn't have any content behind a paywall while LoL does.

I should have specified I was talking more about the playerbase than the game itself. But as for the devs... icefrog has been very inept at balancing for the last few years or so. And valve's laziness is kind of amazing considering how much money they rake in. There hasn't been a new hero created in Dota in 2 years, and Valve has yet to port all of the heroes. When it was in beta there were several heroes ported a month. Now its a 1-2 a year.

I agree with you there, valve is lazy as ****. At least they seem to be redoing the maps in CSGO. Kind of inexcusable to not have the full dota 2 roster by now.

Also kind of disappointed they haven't done anything with TF franchise to combat all the new FPS mobas like overwatch/battleborn/gigantic/paladins coming out.

TF2 dropped off their radar when they had set up the cash cow framework(Mannconomy update). Its just there to make them money until it kicks the bucket. The Mann vs Machine update marked the end of any new life being breathed into the game. Instead of doing something that expanded on the base game like they had done for many years, I can imagine they didn't feel like devoting the resources so instead just opted for a spin-off game mode to retain interest.

FPS moba's? But didnt mention Paragon the main one.. what a shame.. Also all about that fortnite.. Epic Games got their **** straight. Considering they have actual dev's, gm's, and customer support always in game/chat helping and playing with people.. Blizzard will never touch that quality of interaction with players. Just ask yourself this.. When was the last time you played a blizzard game or any other major game where the employees actually played and answered questions in game all day everyday? LoL was like that preseason 1.. then it went all fanboy/tournaments... they stopped listening to players and only patched based off professional games. Thats a bad sign for the industry right there.

TL:DR Overwatch looks good.. but its blizzard.. dont lie to yourself.

Since hextech crafting not really anymore. Allthough that might be arguable for the rate of aquisition though

Unfortunately blizzard (activision) doesn't make games anymore, nowadays they make money and as you can judge by their products recently, it cripples quality a lot. Overwatch is a perfect example (remember titan project hype?). They focus now on small content like heartstone and hots.

They usually mail me beta keys for every new game they make so if I get one it's yours. Personally I hope they will finally sink as they are disgrace to video games market.

And btw Doom by bethesda looks much more promising in my opinion but this can be caused by huge nostalgia (although doom 3 was crap).
