Re: Mouse Suggestions
The G-600 is nice. I have no idea how the macro function works, but it's comfortable and the extra 12 buttons are nice. Anything you keybind to numberpad will be bound to your mouse keys.

Any suggestions that aren't too expensive or too nerdy to use?![]()

Re: Mouse Suggestions
Can't go wrong with a Razer Deathadder. Decently priced, and suits nearly any handstyle.
Personally use a Razer Taipan, which is a smaller/lighter but more pricey deathadder.

Microsoft Intellimouse 3.0, bought mine 2004 or something. Still works today and very cheap.
Re: Mouse Suggestions

Still using my Microsoft mousepad since 1995.
But two more buttons on this mouse would help alot!

Re: Mouse Suggestions
Ef wires and mice, trackball baby!! No moving the mouse around on your desktop, no mouse pads, more space for wider a gaming keyboard with G-Keys (Corsair Vengeance K90 and K95 highly recommended), and faster targeting imo.

They also make a wired center ball model (Trackman Marble) that you use your fingers to roll the ball, my husband has had that model for like 10 years (his first one lasted through 8 years of point n click gaming.) I personally prefer the thumb control ball (and wireless feature.)
Either way, Logitech's software lets you redefine the mouse buttons to keystrokes, so even if a game can't detect say the back or forward mouse button, you can reprogram them through the Logitech software; this basically gives you another 3 buttons for game use (I'm a trip dancing Shadow Warrior who, despite having 18 dedicated game keys, still needs moar keys - I have like 68 keybind combos at my fingertips currently, and its still not enough...)
