Ive tried to always approach situations like this with the understanding that maybe you didnt have all the information. So for example if you were to post something like "It would be nice to get a warning before server shuts off" Maybe instead you could make a thread "Are there warnings before the server goes offline?"ericopey wrote:Be careful about posting complaints about the game being broken. Some people get really butt hurt about it and then lock your thread.
Look, I'm glad you guys put the game on a private server. I'm super glad you're working to fix bugs and ****. I'm honestly excited about it. Thank you for doing that. I appreciate it. But does every complaint have to be prefaced with a giant reach around just so your jimmies don't get rustled too much?
To which the community would respond in unison "YES - almost always there is a 5 min warning".
I know I personally have missed a few of these and the only reason I catch them is because a friend in TS says "ok they are rebooting, ill brb" or something, and then I scroll up and sure enough... they announced it.
General rule of thumb: Maybe you dont have all the info, first seek to understand, then you would be justified in SUGGESTING something.
Just my 2 cents Mate.
