You're doing God's work, guys! Thank you all for your effort and enthusiasm. It shows.
You're 100% it's legal though? Doesn't violate some copy right laws? It'd be a shame if the server closes due to some stupid complain from the owners of license or smth.
THE ROR FACTS : We love you.

There's enough people to "buy out" warhammer online. They can't possibly need that much. It not even active in their eye's.
If that happened several other sites would open up to like old wardb.com

Re: THE ROR FACTS : We love you.
If it was affordable to anyone, someone would have done it already. The licensing costs for Warhammer Fantasy run, at my best estimate, between $5 and 20 million dollars. That's assuming GW even wants to license WHFB anymore, since they killed it. And they likely wouldn't, because we don't have a professional, full-time development staff to modernize and market the game. Nor could we recoup the costs for that licensing, or to pay those people. If it were possible, EA would have done it. If it was a good idea, literally anyone else since the shutdown would have done it.Tarmgasz wrote:There's enough people to "buy out" warhammer online. They can't possibly need that much. I think Broadsword, who got ultima / daoc, had the option to pick up WAR but they passed on it due the fact that the costs for WAR were much greater than everything else combined. I seemed to remember some interview somewhere but I am having trouble tracking it down.Genisaurus wrote:If it was affordable to anyone, someone would have done it already. EA would have ruined it.Genisaurus wrote:If it was affordable to anyone, someone would have done it already. And GW probably just wants to ruin themselves, at least AoS was a huge fail.

Re: THE ROR FACTS : We love you.
Been awhile since anyone has posted in this thread but I saw it and thought I would express my feelings on the matter.
I love this game. I consider myself fortunate to be able to play it, and I am grateful to those who are running it. Thank you, and keep up the good work.

"THE ROR FACTS : We love you"
Not as much as we love you!
I wish there was a way I could at least buy you all a beer. I had been a gamer in mourning since retail closed down. Now I am happy again. Myself, my Dad, my two kids, my brother and his two kids all thank you.
