Did you sub the whole time WAR was open?

I have to admit, I pre-ordered and subbed the whole time War was open (except the last year, I gave up).
Subbed in the hope EA would wake up someday.... and they never did.

The energy and dedication the Dev's here have is awesome.
It's amazing how Mythic still had WAR staff in the last 2 years, and didn't do a tenth what you guys have done.

I talked to Fozzee a few times, got some stories about what happened behind the scenes.... and it all comes back to Jacobs selling the company. What a shame.

I all makes me wonder what could have been possible had they been willing to sell the code (or give it) to someplace like here. I bet the blood rising expansion would've been possible had they done it..... and WAR would be a commercial success today.

Yeah i did. Only time i actually had a " real " job for few weeks back in 2008 was to buy new computer for WAR =)

yeah I'm a ******! So sub day 1 > the day when they posted the "closing letter" and did the final EA-patch which made all RR100 with full gear. They sure did close in true EA-style with that patch that did dwarf all previous ill thought through patches and fixes. "The patch to rule hem all!"

Ps. Returned the last week and wept quietly in a corner.

I subbed up until I hit rr80. When they upped it to 100 I unsubbed.

Everybody could see that game is going to die after 100RR supersuits patch, just "not all can look into the tomorrow day" :]

I pre-ordered the deluxe edition box with the greenskin mini, comic and artbook and played for months, joined on and off but left before the RR 80 -100 stuff.

On a side note, I watched the new Hunger Games movie today and there was a trailer for a WOW expansion..... at the end it said "instant leveling to 90".
I've never played WOW (not interesting), but that auto leveling thing reminds me of the worst of WAR.

Bye bye WOW, you're lasted far too long as it is.

I dropped out a few times to try other games when my guild moved. But me, artriot and thorhammer always ended always ended up coming back to war. No game ever game close.

Subbed four months after the game went live and was on to the end

Subbed for 3 months from the very beginning. Burned out HARD at the beginning and ended up getting super frustrated at the broken campaigns and RvR zones, had so many good times Warbanding through the zones for hours on end. So i took a long time off before returning sporadically throughout the rest of the games release. No MMO has come close to what WAR delivered. Its one of the best.
