Hey everyone. I deleted my Black Orc by mistake, now it's a perfect time to start a new tank. The thing that I disliked about BO was that he was outshone by Chosen in debuffing and Black Guard in the mezzing. I decided to roll Black Guard because of the 5 sec KD and the insane punt. I was wondering if someone can share with me a build that will get me deep into the enemy line and be able to KD, punt, and get out alive.
Equipment slotting suggestions would be most welcome as well. Would I slot toughness altogether, or mix in with armor talis?
What is the disruption % looking like at lvl 35 etc?
Thanks for your input ya'll.

You can have 20% from renown, 30% from tactics. And 5-10% from items, if my memory isn't lying to me.

I'm using Loathing path because of Terrifying Foe. I get over 1000 toughness, even though its initial value at about 600. Plus - it stacks with sham's toughness buff. In combination with Force of Fury it allows you to survive in enemy assist and Crush the Weak makes any damage dealer almost useless (it also works on healers btw). If you like to guard ppl, then use parry tactic instead of disrupt to minimize damage from your Guard. With this path I only use shield for KD, in case of enemy's strong melee premade, to give more control.
Talis - mixed tough+wounds, pots - str+armor.

My favorite spec is full Anguish. I take everything except the M4 and the anti-detaunt tactic

This spec is not bad for Rank 40.

and i would slot armor in gear, since you will be able to buff yourself quite alot of toughness.
You can easy disrupt by using hold the line, so i wouldnt worry much about that.

Bit of an old post now, but is the part I've underlined true, it affects heal crit? And if so, is it supposed to work like that?SpacestarKid wrote:I'm using Loathing path because of Terrifying Foe. Yeah, I believe it does work that way and is intended to.
