Empty keeps are perfectly attackable. You can still take them if you want.

By the way, Azarael, what do you (developers) think of the scenario and the emblems system ? The Mercenary set is easier to get than the Annihilator, everyone will agree on this. Is this intented or should we expect changes in the immediate future ?

We will be changing the RvR system in the future, but we need more power over the client before we can fully and cleanly implement the design that we seek to use. This of course means knock-on changes for medallions.

Pending fixes:

- Tweaked contribution method to favour tanks more and DPS less.
- Mobs in PQ now link within 40ft when attacked.
- Contribution now has a group bonus. This bonus depends on how balanced your group composition is. The more your composition is dominated by any single archetype, the less of a contribution bonus you'll get. Groups with a perfect ratio of tanks, healers and DPS will receive twice the contribution.

That last point sounds awesome and is probably the best way to achieve class parity. As for point 2, what does linking exactly mean? And for point 1, does it just give a tank more contribution for the same task? Like with the same damage done (assuming contribution uses damage done) the tank will be rated slightly higher?

While the old system was flawed and i am in agreement with this maybe people did gear too fast. What's happening right now is just stalemate faceoffs in the middle of Praag. While what you intended to do was get more action (and i totally get it) what's happening now is nobody will split up you have 2 mega blobs just going toe to toe with each other with no real motivation to spread from the blob because of the lack of incentive to do so.

Me personally RVR doesn't matter as much to me as the other guy as i am more focused on SC's/6 vs. 6 but this system is not better than the one you had in place because at least people split up and to tell you the truth there was a lot of fighting going on anyway. Did people probably leech lock's, probably but that has always been hard to stop in Warhammer. It seem's like you have sorted 1 problem but created an even bigger one. That's only my opinion i'm not here to bad mouth any of your work i have even congratulated people on a good effort thus far.

The previous formula rated damage received equally for all players. The current formula no longer grants high contribution to DPS and healers for damage they received. There is already a limit on contribution from damage received from a mob as well as the healing contribution that can be gained from that. This, in combination with PQ mobs linking (when one is aggroed, all within a 40ft radius will respond) is designed to make tanks a little more relevant. Damage dealt by PQ mobs, or their class, may also stand to be increased. I'll decide when I see the effect of this.

As usual, I'd like to note that since Mythic's formula for contribution was also borked / bad (relying upon XP gained), our formula will not be perfect either. I will be satisfied with reasonable performance.

I would like to ask some questions here.

Is there any control if the healers really heal. If not could just put an damage archmage in the group and have your usual group ration that you want and go on.

And secondly but more important, will that new formula only count for pq or for every contribution system lik RvR?

The formula reads the scenario archetype system. A DPS Archmage is a DPS.

This formula is used only for PQs. RvR contribution is linked to our intended RvR design and it will not be implemented beforehand.

As I understand changelog says allways one goldbag on hard Pqs.

We made two hours ago The hard empire PQ. Three times.

Got NOT allways a gold one.
Got some purple ones who according to the people had only earth and money in it.

I'm not complaining. Just wanted to tell.
