Order or Destruction?

Since I'm rather new, and haven't been able to create a character yet (server down) I figured I'd take the time to make this post.

So, here is the question:
Should I go with the Valiant, out numbered, underdog Order, and show Destruction that there is more to fear than the dark with my Knight of the Blazing Sun?
OR
Should I accept the gifts bestowed upon me, and join the Marauding Destruction, and give myself to Chaos, whilst providing a hefty wall of protection with my blessed Shield of 'You shall not pass'?

It's the other way around on this server. Order outnumbers destro most of the time during EU primetime. I play both sides and have every class except the engy/magus.

Also, almost all the order classes are better than the destro ones: Knight of the blazing sun, Slayer and Shadow warrior -in t4 it has more dps- just to name a few and destro doesn't have infinite broken pounce from the white lion to render kiting or actual distances obsolete. Mind you, T4 is coming out soon but seeing these imbalances still in place, I don't see that changing.

The pve quests that matter are noticeably easier on the order side such as the skaven chain and some of the epic ones. I've done them both extensively on various classes to confirm that.

Some destro classes need some work once T4 is released.

Chosen is not worse than KOTBS...especially as sword and board with constant M4 up. Marauder is more powerful than White Lion by far. Squig Herder / SW and Slayer / Choppa have their ups and downs but neither is all that much better than the other. Are we playing the same game?

**Edit I guess there could be lots of changes I haven't even bothered to look at. But the game feels like it did before. You can't compare T3 to T4...especially if they decide to up the RR cap to 100.

Play order, only cause there not enough order people on t4 to counter destro. Last time we had 2 wb vs 4 destro wb. So you can play destro when its comfortable, but your main char should be order to restore balance.

Idk about that, past few days all order has done is zerg with 5 wb's and dest has had like 1wb. <.<

Reroll power. What I said - that was on release of t4. I think most of players here are rerolling for "wining" side depends on situation.

I'm a hardcore Destruction player myself, and I have watched over the last couple months how at times Order does have the euro peak times in terms of numbers. This just drives myself and other dedicated Destruction players to compete with those odds, it builds that mentality in the most die hard Destruction players that we need to constantly be pushing ourselves to beat what Order can field. While the forces of the Empire may still have some very driven individuals, the overall feeling for many of them is a sense of already having won.

They grow comfortable in knowing that zerg is there, while brief its always lingering on the minds of Order, and on Destruction. Theres something to be said to of even the constant chatter of "order bias". While Order takes comfort in these, Destruction is fueled by the constant reminder of these on a daily basis and that feeling of "Gotta beat that" is constant. People who play both sides won't ever fully understand that feeling, because they are just seeking those instant wins a quick faction hop can bring in RVR for the most part, or those who have allowed themselves to grow comfortable in the shade of a zerg and authority figures won't ever even come close to the level of drive of those without that emotional comfort to fall back onto will experience on a daily basis.

Destruction doesn't have that blanket to wrap itself in, we instead push ourselves harder and do more in the face of defeat by firing back with drive and ambition pushing us harder to be better.

Orders strength comes from that unifying feeling they are able to instill with the zerg and authority figures on "their side", but the heart of Destruction takes the ever present awareness of this and uses it to forge bonds on a level unmatched by the slumber party that is Order. Look not at last weeks events, or last months or any of these comments here as they convey nothing of the burning ambition to succeed at this factional warfare that is the true heart of the brothers and sisters of Destruction.

Our leaders facing these odds are driven to see you succeed because its the mentality that we have built as Destruction. We as a faction know that the only way to win is by ensuring each and every member of our faction that we can reach out to is helped in being the best they can possibly be.
