Did you seriously just write this? I suggest you read it again because you basically just told me "punishing people for their mistakes its not cool".

What should we do then? Reward them?
There is a very important difference between punishing you for mistakes you did and punishing you for something you have no control over, like headless teammates. You can't fix that. You can't adapt to that

Shadowgurke wrote:Jump healers? Make your tanks punt targets away from the clump?
What healers? What part of clumped you did not get? The healers are there, thats why its a clump.
Cool, free win because healers are in the clump.
The whole argument is that you insist in playing vs WLs the same way you play vs everyone else and when that doesnt work, you come here to get the game changed instead of adapting yourself.

You are playing against a mdps with no healdebuff who is reliant on a pet being alive to do its damage, clump up, destroy his pet and laugh.
I don't have a problem with WLs as far as handling them offensively goes. It's just that their escape mechanism is ridiculous and should be looked at

A 10 sec CD would seem enough of a balance to me.

any person that think that the WL is no OP should play a little bit on the destro side and always lose a scenario when they have 2+ wl.. its just beyond ridiculous right now

Yeah the difference is that is that guy fault, not yours, yet you are playing a team game, when someone in your team underperforms or makes a mistake, you all pay for it, if you dont like it, well, too bad for you.

Thats what games based around group play are about.

You are getting ridiculous, your basis of argumentation circles around somehow, WLs being an auto win with no counterplay.

If there is a isolated target, the WL jumps in, kills it thanks to the magic of whoknowswhat and escapes for free, if there is no isolated targets the Wl team wins because no one is isolated.

Warhammer online is so easy.

They dont have anywhatsoever as long as your team adapts and plays around it. So i would say that yes, you do have a problem handling wls.

I think Pounce should have a 5 second cooldown, but also stick to your target as opposed to their location upon casting it.

The WL is a balanced class, and is one of the only classes that can have their efectiveness effectively halved by simply killing off their MECHANIC (pet). The class is a mobile frontloaded burst MDPS, and any changes need to bear in mind the fact that the pet is relatively easy to kill off resulting in the class not dealing as much burst (doesn't do as much sustained as a SL or WH).

The real question is what are people willing to give to the WL for any of the pounce changes...

If pounce is gonna be on a 10s cooldown... wouldn't that mean it would have to be miles more reliable than it is now, maybe land on top of the player than next to him. Though my guess is people will still find that OP, and possibly even worse than the state it is now.

It is a difficult ability to balance but a good start would be to not allow WLs to pounce after being knockback. A lot of problems lie in the ability being able to completely counter or nullify certain abilities of other classes such as snare or knockbacks. Why is one class out of 23 able to avoid knockbacks entirely and reduce the effectiveness of snare by still being able to do damage to their targets. A WH or WE won't do any damage if they are snared down and too far away from their target. What makes WLs so special to be able to avoid two important CCs in the game?
