Afaik TE doesnt even go on CD if you properly taunt it, which really is a bit lackluster tbh

Was like this on the mythic server too tbh.
On muh knight:
I see a mara who just started to slap his purple genitals into someones face -> taunt -> mara = "wtf?!" face and after 2 seconds recovery from the shock -> try #2 -> "vicious slash" (i'm now in melee range) -> mara = "wtf?!" again -> try #3 -> knockdown -> try #4 -> no tools left, retard squishy didn't notice anything of it, ran ofc not out of range/LoS and gets pulled; all effort for nothing...

Two that I can think of right now
Ranged stagger on Zealot
Rift + perma snare on Magus
Zealot does have to put 14 points into one tree to get it while needing 12 in another. SW rkd is core and BW in a tree they will be picking 2 tactics and the other 2 abilities from anyway.
Rift then youve got a magus

Not only that the SW got his requirement removed on the range kd long time before, no he also get his damage modifier as a base ability while the marauder has to spec into the Path of Brutality. VoN is so superior when compared to MA it is insane: 30 s CD, same damage buff, same uptime and all that on a range dps class. the marauder has to go in and risk his life + he can be cc'd, the SW can free cast. WTF? PLEASE AZARAEL STOP BIASED!

As a Marauder ... Meh, I don't rely know. Some sort of middle ground could be nice but Yea, A Successful TE is usually followed whit an easy kill on a squishy target (not fun being on the reciving end). Aceboltz is just propably upset about the distrupts, and why wouldn't he? Let's say any of your Class's main DPS / CC / debuff skill (5 combo WH shots, exaushing blow whit Slay /Chop ect.)gets nullified in some way, you get somewhat upset.

TE is like Sport-Fishing, sometimes you get nothing, still you do it for the love of the hunt.
Once again, I played Mara on live and now, and never Felt TE needed a buff. Play for the LoLs <3

Isn't that exactly how things should work? The higher the chance of a kill an ability has, the more difficult it should be to pull off. This applies to both TE and Fetch, they just handle this in different ways: TE's success rate being toned down by disrupt (as its a magical ability), fetch by being reliant on a cumbersome pet that has buggy patching and can be knocked down etc (as its a physical object).

The main difference is that if either fail, the WL has a high probability of losing the core part of its mechanic (including a good chunk of its DPS and all its CC) whilst a Mara loses nothing. This is where risk and reward are out of kilter, however, you can't compare mirror abilities in isolation and have to look at classes as a whole. One may be stronger in a comparable ability yet weaker in another, as long as things balance out and both can fulfil their role it matters less.

Can slayers get a AOE shout that knocks down everyone in a 30 feet radius for 5 seconds and exhausts berserk rage with a 40 second cool down? That would be cool. : p : p : p lol
