Well honestly I never saw The Order Tanks as cool as the destruction ones. Which is probably a big factor.

Thats only me though, who knows.

I agree from a personal point of view. On order side its only the IB's i do like the look of.

Magus vs engi: Engi is often considered to be better than magus. if its true or not is not really important here. what is important is that is what is often told.

Incorrect. Most people agreed on live that Magus > Engi, due to the fact that they only needed Intelligence while Engies had to stack Bal & WS.

Bw vs Sorc: Same here Bw is often considered to be the better of these 2. And often you hear Bw's being called OP. same here again if its true or not is not really important.

Incorrect. Both are pretty much balanced, and Sorc can actually do more damage.

Honestly, i think the reason we see so many BWs and SWs is the ranged KD. While it is not OP at all when used against an organized group, it is OP in 1v1 against melee classes and it definitely is very strong against PUGs.

And no, i'm not asking for a nerf. I was just pointing out why i think order has so many rDPS players.

the reasons are much more trivial
mara is quite tough and good as pug mdps while orders lack such mdps
SH, WL are pet classes that many ppl dont want to play becouse of the pets
BW looks much better than sorcs, in my view it is same for engi vs magus
destro tanks looks miles better than orders tanks
so at the end you got heavy rdps on orders and heavy mdps with quite many tanks on destro

Personally I think its more a hangover from live. In the early days the majority of servers destro had a very large numbers advantage. When I started you rolled a rdps on order because you would be defending keeps in every tier. Thats just easier nuking from the walls and you just need a few tanks for the tank wall. Des needed the tanks and mdps to get in.

Yes I think I somewhere even red a confession from a live dev that they knew at the beginning that the "cool" looking site is going to dominate and therefore pushed the abilitys from the other side a bit to balance things out.

Maybe you did not read what i wrote. This was not a statement that any of them are better than the other.

I agree with you in this case. both about Bw's and sorcs. But what the truth is here is irrelevant.

Read forums, and listen to people complainign and such things. Bw is often said to be OP, you dont hear it as often about sorcs. same with engis, they are more often said to be better than magus.

Then it does not really matter if its true or not. People that are looking for a op class or the best class when it comes to a specific role. they will hear this. and many will roll the classes that are said to be better.

As I've probably done more research here than anyone on this as I ask nearly everyone everything I can possibly think of when I want to know something....... In questioning the better part of 3-400 people in my time here who have tanks....

Destro side loves the tanks because of the look. The way BO's yell is just epic. Chosen are in 3/4 of cinematics and again.... just total BA's. Even if you are into elves the Blackguard armor is leagues above anythign a SM has ever dreamed of. The SM looks like it is in T1 from T1-forever. The knight looks like a massive panzy and that is why he is the best tank in the entire game. Argue all you want, Knight is good as hell and thats why 6 mans use them and pugs don't (they look ridiculous). Lastly that leaves ironbreakers which will always look awesome.

The problem isn't with the devs, it is just how the lore made them look. You can try as hard as you want, but when someone wants scrawny shiny armor with physics defying feathers.... you are going to get a load of glitter and "fabuuuulusssssss" - not sure why SM's never manage to look out of T1, but yeah they just look pretty lame.

Alllllll abilities out. I bet most BO's play BO because of the look/yell/armor - most chosen love it because his armor is insane and he gets some of the coolest swords in the friggin game. BG's look like a tanky ninja of death and even if all they do (95% of the time) is punt, people freaking love them.

So stop asking why destro has more melee trains lol. Its tanks are appealing visually. People love to have a huge group of orcs in the mix bashing everyone in. Not a bunch of Scrawny Steve's feathers dangling, perfectly shampoo'd hair waving and all as their main... unless you look into the game and see how OP the knight is in buffing utility compared to any other tank.

Stop asking.... looks matter a LOT more than people think. Tank debate solved. Destro tanks look amazing. Order tanks look like panzies aside from IB's.

Yet DoKs completely **** all over warhammer lore but plenty of so called warhammer fans main them because of how they are.
