I would like to expand upon this, because I really like the idea. Daily and weekly quests incentivise people to log on, even just to complete the quests, and are in many MMO games.peterthepan3 wrote:Even something temporary for the interim?

Some of my ideas:
Daily quests: refresh at a specific time daily and can only be completed one per day. Collected from the King, or a "Herald". Quest must be completed and rewards collected before the deadline to be eligible to collect a new quest on the new day.
Daily Quest #1: (one quest, which applies to all three pairings)
Take five Battlefield Objectives from the enemy.
Take two keeps from the enemy.
Reward: XP, RP, 1x medallion.
Daily Quest #2: (one quest, which applies to all three pairings)
Kill 150 enemy players (RvR zones only; SCs do not count)
Reward: XP, RP, 1x medallion
You could go a step further and have Weekly Quests, which refresh at a specific time and day each week and can only be completed once per week. Collected from the King, or a "Herald". Quest must be completed and rewards collected before the deadline to be eligible to collect a new quest on the new week.

Furthermore, people love to stroke their E-Peen and the player statues on Live were a fantastic incentive to go out and kill as many enemies as possible to let your entire realm know you were a monster. Is this being looked at for the future?
