I do not know how much I am going to talk about myself, as there is really not a lot of interesting things to say. But here i begin.
I am on my 4th semester in medialogy, which is a cross-disciplinary study of computer-science and design, focusing on User-eXperience (UX). I am currently living in Europe, but that might change as my SO is looking for work elsewhere in the world. I like to participate in demonstrations and protests as part of my political activities. I am a nerd who enjoys Live Action RolePlaying (LARP), reading/writing sci-fi and other genre material, Magic: The Gathering (MTG), GNU/Linux distros, website design, and working with people.
'Wait, where is Warhammer on that list?' Well, I, in all honesty, dislike the board game and the company quite a bit, but it has a nostalgic feeling for me to play this game as it was something my father and I shared in my youth. He also used to paint the figurines and I would help him, but we never played a game with them as the rules at the time were confusing and we had other projects to do.
That is all I really care to share about myself. Now my questions to whoever might be so kind to answer them!
I remember in the original version of the game PvE and questing was quite pointless, is that still true for this private server or has it been balanced out?
I took a look at the RP section of this forum and it seems quite active. My question is, how does the roleplay feel (describe this in a descriptive manner, but do not be scared to be subjective, really it helps anyway)?
I found the guide on how to make RoR to work on Linux, if any linux uses answers this thread can you provide with your experience of getting it to work? I am currently running Manjaro KDE 16.06 32-bit and I like to know what I am getting myself into.
