Ruin grind is driving me insaneeeee!

I reaaally think it should be based on raw damage/healing/damage taken or something, the whole race to tag mobs is f#cking aids and leads to some pretty toxic gameplay imo.

Had to stop personally before I burned out doing it for like 4 hours a day to try and get shoulders, still haven't got them or chestpiece and I've won 18 gold bags, lol.

Edit: Should Ruin really be such a grind, when the dev team seems very intent about making RvR the staple experience of this game, is there any reason that the bags shouldn't let you pick 1 out all 5 pieces so people can get into the lakes or SCs quicker with their stepping stone gear (Ruin)?

The system introduced was to replace the old system of random contribution even by people passing through the PQ, you have a much higher chance to actually get the gold bag with this system, yes it sucks that you can get duplicates, I have had many myself, and while it sucks its not like its hard.

Instead of coining the terms of cancer and aids...... perhaps a suggestion would be better, would you actually prefer the previous system of just 100% random and afkers winning all the gold bags? You don't like to farm PQ's which is understandable, some people don't like to farm medals in ORvR and some don't like to farm emblems in scenarios, with 3 sets you are bound to run into a part of the game that you don't enjoy, just as many others do, instead of just coming here to whine about how much you dislike the current unfinished system.

Locking this thread. Staff has stated time and time again that the current system is unfinished and that more PQs will be added in the future.
Any new threads that are created about this topic will simply be deleted.
