[Witch Elf] Leveling woes.

I find leveling as a witch elf to be incredibly tedious, so much so that I've become convinced I'm doing something wrong. It's been a long time since I played live so I don't really remember my leveling experience back then.

My grievance:

I am a level 12 WE currently. I seem to have difficulty fighting any more than one same-level mob at a time. 2 mobs I can usually handle with very little health at the end. Afterward there's a minute or so of standing still waiting for my health to come back. That minute is usually enough time for all the mobs I've killed to respawn making it difficult to make progress into a camp to kill named mobs and such. Is this kind of ability and wait time just standard or can I improve it?

My theories:

My gear isn't up to par. I don't know how much of a difference gear actually makes but maybe a lot? If that's the case how do I get better gear with PQs being broken?

Is there a particular leveling spec that's ideal? I have all of one spec point but it's worth asking.

What I'm after is a leveling experience with as little downtime as possible before I move on to kill my next mob. Is that even possible?

Solo grinding on certain classes is a nightmare and there is nothing you can really do about it. The best thing you can do is find a healer

I agree with Shadowgurke, also do a lot of sc's and run in zerg mobs to level faster also you will be glad you did later because you get that Purple juice you will want down the road

There's a big jump gear wise initially when you go from whites/empty slots to greens and blues. Then it's less important until you are 1/2 tiers behind in gear (ie you're level 25 and you got lvl 5 greens on). Lower lvl PQ are either not working or give fairly subpar gear. Your best bet is doing rvr and scenarios for solid upgrades that will last a while. Those also give sets which are very helpful.

I haven't played one myself but from what I've heard WH and WE are some of the harder classes to solo with since there's no sustain and you're squishy and you're lacking stats at lower lvls.

roll with the zerg in T2 leech RR, and exp, i was just in T2 on my mara so i know destro still does keep takes and defs, once in T3 immediatly start doing the epic quests, grab all the stalker quests and the skaven quest chain in IC and then toll with the zerg all the way till your ready to reach t4.
