Interpretation of Multiboxing

Hi,

I would like to hear some opinions of the Interpretation of this rule:

"* No multiboxing. You are only allowed to control one character in the game at a time while doing PvE or PvP."

what do you think?

1. you are not allowed to have two accounts logged in at the same time under no circumstances
2. you are allowed to have to 2 accounts logged in, but you are only allowed to play one of them(doing PvE or PvP) and with the other you can check mail, do cultivating, or chat or do AH stuff.

Multiboxing is essentially playing multiple characters at one time. I can see the reasoning behind that rule, like if someone was playing multiple characters to cheat etc.

Technically checking mails and cultivating istn't PvP, nor PvE.
But I wouldn't press it by the words used, you should get the intention behind it.

You aren't allowed to benefit by having multiple toons online at once.

Else you could argue, afking with a kotbs/chosen to grab the buffs, while you're killing with your main istn't multiboxing as well, since you're not 'controlling' them. Or you're only controlling 'one character' if you head to the 2nd computer to do something, since you're afk from the first computer.

Just stay away from having two online at the same time, then you're fine.

to be more specific, I dont want an advise, or how I should see the rule, more likely how you understand that rule and with that: if you chooses 1. then why there is a specific explaination on what you cant do with the char(...while doing pve/rvr).

When I wrote that rule, my intent was to not allow someone to control more than one character in the game at the same time.

Pretty sure cultivation or any other crafting is pve...otherwise it just downvalues the craft and leaves a big hole in the rules without any reason. Checking mails? seriously? You do anything important using the ingame mail system that needs you to permanently check them?
