Not a day goes by where I don't think about this game. From organizing the first fort take and city siege on Praag, to turning around a losing order army on Badlands to dominating destruction.
I have never played a game since that was able to compare to the thrill of leading an organized warband against the opposing zerg until you crushed the will of your enemy and drove them into the walls of their city as they desperately tried to prepare for the invasion that was looming upon their lands.
No army could stop the wrath and no warband could defeat us. To this day I still maintain an undefeated record in city sieges and pray desperately to relive those days in the hopes that a worthy challenger will rise from the ashes to take the crown for themselves.
Role playing the war effort is what makes this game and I look forward to restoring the glory of Order and decimating any destruction who dare tread on our liberty.

Weren't you the Leader of RUIN? Or am I mistaken. I was in Dom Noc on Pragg/Badlands. I remember when Ruin dominated Badlands until the Destro from Praag showed up. Seems Ruin quit when they couldn't have their way anymore

Re: Neoyoda from Praag and Highside from Badlands
No I was in Havok on Praag. We ran 3 organized warbands using key binds to communicate with warband leaders. My man Alejos was the guild leader and combat trainer while my main focus was overall war strategy and server outreach. I remember when we pushed to the city for the first time on the server, I was in like 5 different guild vents with key binds to all the raid leaders directing warbands across all the t4 and t3 maps. Order was greatly outnumbered on praag by about 3 - 1 but we managed to overcome the odds. It took us 16 hours straight to push to the city, back when the game was at its greatest and you had to seize forts with strategy. I remember our core leadership creating level ones to travel to enemies forts to assess the battlefield and find chokehold points to prevent destroy from defending their fort.
Then when I transferred to badlands I joined a guild called Feared. They were the largest guild on order but were terrible at organized pvp. Ended up training them to move as a unit and how to wipe a zerg with one warband. This was after Ruin quit and destroy took over.
Ended up quitting the game when Feared's leadership started to try to dictate who could be in my city warbands. They really thought some guildy who showed up at the last minute deserved to be in my city warband more than some random non guildie in vent who was with me from the second I formed my warband. Politics got in the way of the war effort and the politicians cost order their dominance.
Warhammer to me was all about the entire army and not some elitest guild within the army. Your only as strong as your weakest link.
I really had hoped the old fort battles would be revived. It added a greater level of sophistication and strategy to win. You couldn't simply just zerg your way to the city, you had to be tactical and predictive of your enemies actions.

Re: Neoyoda from Praag and Highside from Badlands
Id like to add a little bit to the tales of the first city siege on praag.
We had the elf fort down with empire on the doorsteps of the fort and dwarf still at neutral grounds. Again we were outnumbered 3 to 1 and destro were already taking up defense positions within the empire fort.
It was looking as if destro were going to stop our advance. They had the walls of the outer Empire fort filled with warbands sitting outside the doors and the final fort of Chaos Wastes completely filled.
As our warband leaders were in a panic state and demoralization was starting to fill the ranks, I had to quickly devise a plan. So I secretly sent two warbands, one to tier 3 dwarf to cap the forts and another to cap thunder mountain while having our guild queue for dwarf scenarios.
Then magically, thunder mountain capped.
At that moment victory seemed attainable. With everyones focus on the massive battle taking place in Chaos wastes, I had sent the warband in TM and Dwarf t3 to Black Crag while having our guild queue up for Black Crag scenarios. Quickly we took the first keep, then we took all the objectives.
And as destro had the upper hand in Chaos Wastes, pushing back from the final keep, I had called for all our guilds organized warbands to leave Chaos Wastes and go straight to Black Crag.
With the final door almost down on the last keep, I sent all reinforcements to the fort to prepare to take down the doors.
And as they had gotten set up, the final keep was secured and Black Crag had flipped.
Withing minutes the outer wall of the fort was down with three warbands beating on the inner door and no destroy in site. I had sent the 4th warband to prevent any destroy from entering the back door to secure the inner fort walls.
As the destro had finally figured out my stealth strategy and started swarming Butchers Pass, the inner fort door had been destroyed and 3 of our warbands were rushing the inner steps.
And as our 4th warband guarding the city gates was slowly wiping, we dealt the final blow to the Butchers Pass fort lord thus giving us the city.
Then as we leaped down to back up our 4th warband that was wiping, we rezed them up, wiped all the horde within seconds and stormed the city for Praags server first.
unfortunately at that time, the City was not finished and our entire guild was greatly disappointed having spent 16 hours to reach the promise land only to find some broken mechanics and poor animations.
The next day half the order on the server had quit Warhammer and destro easily pushed our city having hardly no resistance.
If you have fully read this story then I thank you for sharing in my adventures.
And I look forward to the new adventures we shall have going forward because thanks to the people designing this project, together we will add many new chapters to the Tales of Reckoning.

Re: Neoyoda from Praag and Highside from Badlands
I do remember you, those were awesome times. Destro went to through the same situation on Badlands. Ruin had 1600 members divided between 3 guilds and was going to the city every day. When the Destro from Praag came over and started organizing the faction the tide stared turning and within a month most of Ruin had rage quit. Ruin would flood the zone with lowbies to crash the server to keep destro out of the city. Good times back then. I remember a fight where there were 650 people in the zone. They should never have gotten rid of the forts IMO
