General Error apon attempting to create an account

Okay so, my friend who wishes to join the game and make an account to play, cannot do as said. Every time he attempts to create his account, it takes about 1-3 minutes and he is greeted with a "GENERAL ERROR" page with the following given on it :

General Error
SQL ERROR [ mysqli ]

MySQL server has gone away [2006]

An SQL error occurred while fetching this page. Please contact the Board Administrator if this problem persists.
Please notify the board administrator or webmaster: no-reply@returnofreckoning.com"

I've tried creating his account FOR him and simply it just does this for me too, I see this error has been persistent in the past since 2014.. or so old posts do say.

This problem still not solved since yesterday and have a few topics on this forum. We all waiting for webmaster to save ours and our invited friends nerves, just stay calm and wait for a fix.
