can't play one of my chars

Not sure if there's been some sort of fix or if it's because I abandonned all my open quest in lower tiers but login works for me atm on all my chars. So I guess try disabling quests if u start having login errors.

I have had this problem several times and it seem to follow the level of the toon. From what i can recall it also seem more common if my toon is in IC when trying to log in. Most of the time i can log in after lets say 20-30 minutes, but now i have been trying for past two hours, testlogging other toons in between without no problem. It is my main toon that is giving me headace now, Rolphph Borgia.

I'm having the same problem on my lvl 26 chosen. Occasionally it lets me play for a while but most of the time it gets stuck in login screens and /stuck /stuck doesnt seem to help much. All my other characters seem to work just fine tho. Can't think of anything I've done on chosen that could cause this. All that Ive done diferent on it is that it has some crafts lvld but that probably wont be the reason or it'd be found out already.

Is the character in a guild? If yes, leave it when you manage to log and your issue will be solved.

I left my guild and now I'm able to load scenarios and switch zones. The important thing is that the guild only had 200-300 members, so it is not a 500+ member issue.

Sounds a bit weird if the solution is to disband from guild, I have 2 characters in the same guild and only the login issue with 1 or them, where and when I finally manage to log in, every action that requires the game to load (to an instance or switching zones when flying) immediately kicks me out to the loading screen, when that happens I can sometimes with restarting the game get to the WC I was flying to, however if the destination is IC I wont be able to get in, only solution is /stuck x 2 , I will try to disband from guild later today and see if that helps.

For me removing all my quests I had still open in lower tiers worked. Noticed the amount of quests caused it when my choppa's quests bugged out and all of a sudden I could log on everytime from the 1st try.
(edit: actually today I started having login problims on him again and when I finally got in it turned out the quests where unbugged, so it's definitly related to the amount of data when loggin in, asume big guilds are the same there as lots of quests)

For me, removing the character from guild, worked wonders!

I havent tried flying to IC yet as I was just amazed that I could play, I doubt though that there will be any problems with that manouver.

have same problem, shaky gets as far as loading into avelron screen, after 30 seconds on the screen it kicks back to character select screen, no warnings / errors. Suspect it quest related, as this toon has quite a few. if you can do the db bits (plz dont delete the epic quests if you can avoid it, as still not decided on which weapon to select) so can get back in. off out to work now so wouln't be around for next few hours.

I don't know if that can help but...
This issue is happened for many players two or three week ago on the Tier 4 map Thunder Mountain, we were attacking Karak Karag and the game was crashing, so all the players were able to connect into the game with all their characters excepting the character who was to Thunder Moutain when the game crashed.
Have you disconnect or the game was crashing when you was on a special place with your character ?

Thanks flintboth, Was there that night in tm and had to wait for server restart to log back into affected toon. Problem here for this char being something is taking to long and/or to many packets and then client is giving up and returning to character screen; from where the play button dose not work again, have to either quit or select martys square server again, has been a few days now, and all other toons log in no problem. have tried another pc, another windows install, client etc. all same results. The toon did crash out from a party in avelorn the day before, but had logged backinto game ok from there. but next day could not get pased the avelorn loading.
