[Shadow warrior] Street Howitzer

One of my favorite memories of my SW from live, even if I never got much gear on him, was a skirmish spec I'm dubbing the street howitzer. It's really no different from the standard skirmish spec, except that you swap out powerful draw for expert skirmisher. Why?

Lileaths Arrow has an effective range of 0 according to the game code. The fact that it goes out in a line 65 feet is irrelevant. Expert skirmisher always considers your target to be 0 feet away, thus the tactic makes LA a 1 second cast by default. Combine that with VoN and m2, and you've got 6 huge LAs coming back to back in a hurry. I used to use this a lot in city sieges to great effect.

Anyone tried this yet? Does it still work? Seems like a pretty good keep defense breaker.

Disclaimer, I wouldn't run this all the time. Full range skirmish abilities is too good to give up for regular play. Just swap tactics as the situation needs.

I used it on my SH all the time. Great on keep defenses and melts any light armored players and can be used every minute vs the morale 4 we get. I mainly used it to get some kills and grin at the damage + crits I could achieve in a single blow.

Was nice for farming mobs as well.

I always switched my tactics to this for keep defenses...

Yep, thats pretty much the role of sws/sh's in large scale fights in t4.

But if you want to be ideal, sws are more suited for their utility than damage - run expert skirmisher, ap on crit, leading shots and pierce defenses, group with a bw or two, and win.

Solo out of group provides more renown though :P
