Now's as good a time as any for a greeting!

Hello! With the login server appearing to be down, at least on my end, now seems like a good time to greet the community that I've have the pleasure of playing with so far. It has been a great experience to get back into this game and I've had a lot of fun even in the lower tiers of rvr.

I have mostly been running around t1 and t2 on a variety of characters to see what sticks. Though, recently, I've taken a liking to my Swordmaster, Jema (11), and my Archmage, Seathiel (14). I played back on live. I was on destruction on what I believe was the Dark Crag server (I'm sure nobody will remember me, but my 40s were Sauldus the Blackguard and Hallvard the Marauder). Then again, it has been so long that I feel as though I'm learning all over again aside from a few basics.

I haven't quite locked in on what I want to be doing yet, although I feel see myself sticking to a tanking or healing role. My indecisiveness has kept me from looking for a guild (as I'd like to just find one and stick to it instead of bouncing around) and really getting into the meat of this game that I loved so much, so for now it is just RvR open warbands and scenario queues for me.

I mostly tend to play in the morning hours around 7-10am EST (I'm NA, but work the night shift) and sporadic hours on my days/nights off.

Thanks for checking me out and for making the community awesome. Hope to see you all on the battlefield!

Good luck mate. The game is a little different to live, a few changes here and there. you can find them in the "intentional changes from live" thread on the forums.

Support classes are always interesting and the SM is in a strong position in its current state. Alot of the lower tiers are low in population, espically NA prime time, as you have likely noticed. The EU time is highly populated and you have will a greater chance finding fights and so forth.

lastly, the game is in a current state of change, many aspects are not implemented, for example, dungeons and fortresses and cities. The current state of the RvR campaign is in a state of flux and change. Therefore do not take anything for certain and do expect aspects of the game to change over time. The best advice is to be open to change, embrace it, check it out, and then give feedback, don't be afraid of change. The forums search function and the advice channel are extremely helpful.

have fun, see you around.
