RoR deprivation

I thought that I am too adult for video game addiction, but loss of an opportunity to play this game forces me to suffer strongly. It is as drug addict withdrawal pains. I can't concentrate on anything, I approach the computer and refresh the page to see change in the server's status every half an hour. The threat of lossing my small green big-eared alter ego again depress me much.
Now I understand that Order is not the worst thing in the world. Ddosers are worse. I hope server masters will win this fight. Gork and Mork bless server's defenders.

I'm really sorry for you Glaurung.

We won't win against this situation in short term.
We won't lose at the end :). This kind of action (DDOS) cost money.

There will be a moment the instigator will understand the uselessness of his action. It may takes some time, depending how rich he is, and mostly how smart.

As said, this situation punish players more than devs : We can continu to work on emulator (and we are) without any problem ( this doesn't mean we aren't affected and concerned about ROR community !!!).

Yes the Addiction is real I cannot wait to enjoy my Jim beams on Friday/Saturday War chill sessions again. I'm resorting to watching War videos in the mean time until it comes live again, I just hope the community hangs in there until we are up and running again.

Come on guys surely you have other games you can be playin in the mean time

Steam has a lot of FTP shiz

I can't understand how people have "just one game" they play, doing so often just leads to burn out

I've been pretty burnt out on games for like 3-4 months now, so I've been watching twitchstreamers instead. But recently I started playing some WAR again and got the full ruin for my squiggy and was gonna do the epic quest with him. Then these problems began and now I'm sitting here with an urge to play but I can't. It's a pretty nice feeling actually :D
